It's been a year, one month, and 15 days since the release of Dual Destinies, but finally... Ace Attorney Trilogy is out in the US on the 3DS eShop for $29.99! The file size is 2945 blocks.
UPDATE: The game is out in Europe for €29.99/£24.99, respectively.

There are actually a lot more changes than the ones I'm cataloging, but as it takes an annoying amount of time to exit to Home Menu, boot up Miiverse, find my post, make a reply, exit Miiverse, and resume the game, I've stopped taking pictures of all of them and I now focus on only the interesting ones. Most of them are minor changes like edited line breaks or a term here or there changed for consistency. (For example, they've gone through and made sure that "courtroom" and "court" aren't just used interchangeably like they were in the original.) There's a lot of phrases edited to be more natural than the awkward original writing (like Edgeworth sarcastically telling Gumshoe to look forward to his next paycheck; before it could be interpreted that Edgeworth was actually giving him a bonus and Gumshoe seemed excited about it, but now Edgeworth is more directly negative about it and Gumshoe visibly feels the pain).
More importantly, though, they've made a lot of great continuity fixes. Like changing the Chief Prosecutor's gender from male to ambiguous (since Rise from the Ashes reveals that it's a woman
), removing Phoenix's mention of the "beginning of a new century" (seems I forgot to attach the US screenshot to that post, but they changed it to "times may change"), changing Phoenix's line about never being a defendent before to reflect AA3, and more as I post them.My verdict, at least one and a half cases into the first game, as that this is the much-needed fix-up the series has needed for ages. I'm so happy that Capcom's finally putting some effort into an Ace Attorney port.

Did they remove "the miracle never happen"?
Did they change Edgey's dialogue in 2-4 to reflect 1-5?
Did they fix Max's dialogue in 2-3, where he tells you how he does his flying trick, and the very next day tells you he can't reveal how his flying trick works?

Huh, I didn't know that. That might explain why Edgeworth actually says a different title in the original English script. Not sure if I managed to screenshot that part; I think he said 'high prosecutor'. The new script changes that to Chief Prosecutor which is what White also says in his office.

On the other hand they decided to just straight out remove the other four European translations. So much to "Capcom finally putting some effort into Ace Attorney".

I'd appreciate a list of changes, sure.
The voice clips do seem to be changed from the Japanese Trilogy. Seems they lowered the volume of the background sound effect. Only for the English clips, though; the Japanese side is the same. I wonder why they did it.
