According to Takumi, recording for the anime started this week! Takumi also visited the studio (in Tokyo). You can see the cover of the script of the first episode in the picture in his tweet. They finished the first episode this week, which took them more than four hours.

Takumi also noted the animation is clearly not done yet (and sometimes not even really moving/animated), and expresses his respect for the voice actors who have to work with this as their guide.

That's just the English version of The Art of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. The book on the right is the scenario book for the first DS game (I love reading random pages in that thing! Why didn't they release these books for the other games?!)

So this confirms that the anime clips in the pachinko ad are not included in the anime, right?

True, though that also depends on the animation studio, the budget, etc.

In that case, there's still a lot of time left until airing, so not surprised everything isn't finished. I just hope A-1 Pictures won't do an Idolmaster Cinderella Girls on us.
