| Post subject: | Ace Attorney Trilogy Western Release Date Revealed |
The Western release date for the HD remaster of the Ace Attorney Trilogy has been revealed as April 9th by Capcom. The game will be digital only in the West, and will release with English and Japanese language support, with French and German to be added in a post-launch update. April 9th will also be the first time the game will release on Steam, and it's probably the delay in this version of the game that is causing a slight delay in the game's Western release. PS4 and Steam versions of the game come with a pre-order bonus wallpaper. You can read more about the game's Western release from Capcom here. |

Only french and german? What happened to the usual euro 5 languages? No italian? No spanish? |

Digital only again. I guess at this point Ace Attorney is just permanently digital outside Japan. I'm not surprised, just disappointed. The only silver lining is that Switch is region free and the game has dual languages in Japan. Actually that's been Capcom's ONLY saving grace on a lot of their releases for Switch. While I'd much rather buy US releases, as long as I can get retail versions in English I can live with Japanese packaging for my Capcom games. |

I'm sad as an Ace Attorney fan and as a Spanish person: no localization (I'm sorry for you too, Italians) and to physical/collector's edition. Thank you, Capcom! |

I see no reason it would have those two translations and not any other existing ones...are they just that sure the game won't sell in those regions? |

I told myself I would probably skip this one and yet here I am. How the heck does this pre-order background thing work on Steam? Is it a Steam profile background or a desktop background? How do we receive it? |

Steam profile backgrounds should be empty in the middle since the content of the profile would go there. I'd guess that by purchasing the game before it is released, a special DLC pack will be added to your account and the images would be somewhere in the installation folder. That's how other file-based DLCs have worked. |
