What character change did you think was surprising?
I think it was Melissa when she actually smiles and was polite and said goodbye. I mean, that was unexpected for me....

Jeff returning to apologize for putting everyone through hell. I wasn't expecting him to return being the punk he is. I guess it's true that--pardon the cheese--there's more to someone than meets the eye.

Mila, she started talking, holy shit.

Yeah, that was the 2nd most shocking video game moment I've ever seen. 1st was the ending of Famicom Detective Club Part II.

That is hella surprising. I was like O_O!!!

Kev turning out to not be a total dickhead.

Honestly, I wasn't too surprised by Mila. Mainly because by the time she started talking, I had forgotten she was mute beforehand. And so I didn't really notice anything until Kyle started going "WHOMG YOU CAN TALK :U". >_>;

The first time Summer said a standalone sentence without following it with a rant or long drawn out explanation...

Louie pissed off knocked me for a loop.
But it made me love him even more, man.

This was the biggest surprise for me too.

Kyle started to smile alot more as the game went on xD

Yeah. Why did that sort of surprise me too? And over food and alcohol.

Also the fact that Kyle is a complete weirdo... He tries to act cool and then all of a sudden he throws that cute smile at eveyone and everything that is completely pointless.
I actually liked that...

Actually, I'm sure if you sit most people down in front of food or drink, chances are they'll smile too. Have you even seen the inside of a real bar? Most people's faces are actually like that.

For me, Iris's personality change when she started telling her story was the most surprising to me. She finally gets off her princess's throne and actually become a normal and yet kinda scumy person like everyone else in Hotel Dusk.

Also, Rachel's change was quite shocking or the lack of therefore. I was really hoping they would have used her more in the story. :kyle:

Basically, when playing through the game, my reactions were like this when you first meet the guests:

"Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. She's pretty. Cute kid. Ugly. Ugly. HOLY SMOKES WHO IS THAT?!" 'that' being Jeff Angel... then I found out his story and was all "umm... still cute?" So I guess it was that Jeff totally fed into the stereotype of teenagers caring about only themselves?

Same here! I stared at my DS screen for a second and thinking...



lol. Who else laughed their heads off when you hear Mila talk, and Kyle's reaction is literally:

"Holy crap. She's talking."

I don't know why, but his lack of shock in the dialogue made me giggle like mad. You should have seen me! There was something similar, too, when

Melissa .She was a brat ,, Then real sweet at thee end :]

Err .. Probably either her , or Dunning . I dunno if anyone has said him yet .. ?
At the beginning he seemed like the kinda guy who would get drunk watching the game and isn't the nicest guy in the world .. But through out the game he got nice .. Then really mushy at the end .
