Louie. He was more useful than Larry is multiple ways and not just because he was the biggest complexion challenged doofus in the history of mankind. He swiped things from under Dunning's nose, came to your rescue in the basement, and allows you to confide in him. He works his butt off day and night just to pay for a roof over his head, puts up with momma sass all day long, and even finds time in between his chores to go bowling.

All flaws aside, Louie is a guy you can learn to like; even if he is a bit of a womanizer.

Louie. I absolutely love him. Hehe, he's just so awesome! And he's really helpful when you need him to be, and I think his look is much better than Larry's, no offense to him. And I love the way Louie talks, apposed to Larry. It's gotta be Louie, man.

I have to admit, I loved louie SO SO SO much more than Larry at first... by the third PW gam, I liked Larry a lot, but Louie and his fro were just adorable, I wanted to pet his head so badly.

Besides, my sister and I are totally anti-Larry anyway. She hated how he kept beating up on Miles and I have to agree.

Louis is way too complex and dramatic of a character to compare him to Larry, who is an outright clown portrayed to rather help you by coincidence than good will. Louis works hard to even live, be it in the middle of nowhere, sweeping floors, waiting tables. The chap watches his only companion fall and in the end loses him - even to find out Kyle's partner was the one who gunned him down. He's on the run now... while I understand how you can see him as a dorky womanizer, no, he's not a Larry. If I had to pick between them regardless, Louis is my man.

Hmm... this is a hard choice, since I love 'em both, but I'm gonna have to say Louie. He's a really complex character, way more than Larry. He helps you more, he has cooler hair (even though Larry has an awesome jacket and stuff), and you actually feel really bad for him. I mean, his best friend was murdered, and now he's a bellhop in the middle of nowhere. Larry's problems, I'm sorry to say, are mostly his own fault. :larry:

But seriously, I'd say Louie hands down.

-Has very in depth personality
-Has had some very hard times and deals with them well
-His vocabulary is WIN
-When at the bar, I felt like I was really connecting with him.

...need I go on? Larry has some good points, but they are few and far apart. Louie MY BROTHER!

This isn't really a fair fight for Larry, unless you take their role in the game out. And even then, he comes out on the down side.

Louie wins the personality fight by a nose, if for no reason other than he doesn't start crying at the drop of a hat. However, in terms of usefulness, there's no contest. Louie vs. Maya would be a better contrast there, and I think Louie wins that one, too, because he only leads Kyle into trouble once. Maya drags Nick into several nasty scrapes (though given enough games, I suspect that gap might close.)
