So It Looks Like The Concert "Announcement"...

At least not in the sense we thought it would.

Is it possible that this is the game they were referring to in the initial GS5 confirmation?
Or is this an unrelated spin-off?

The very first mention of GS5 (last year) specifically mentioned that it was GS5, not "another Ace Attorney game." The fact that the normal GS team is not working on Gyakuten Kenji would also seem to imply that Takumi, Matsukawa, and Nuri must be working on something else. So just because they haven't announced GS5 yet doesn't mean it's a lost cause.

My guess is that they're doing to best to get the series back in good with the fanbase before attempting to bring Apollo back up.

So, wait, if this is more of a spin-off, should we still be calling it GS5? Shouldn't we call it GK in that case?

Gyakuten Saiban refers to the fifth installment of the main series, Gyakuten Kenji is the spinoff.

No, there's a difference. We already know about GK, so this is the discussion board for Apollo's next game.

We talk about GS5 here, and we talk about GK on that other board. :minuki:

They're more than making up for Edgeworth's disappearance from AJ4. I personally didn't mind, but maybe this will act as a pacifier for those complaining endlessly about it.

It's surprising to me how under wraps GS5 has been, nothing leaked. I love leaked info. I really do hope SOMETHING is announced about GS5 soon.
