Sigh...Maybe people just want Nick to be the main "again", 'cause he was pretty much the main character in Apis first strike, eh?
OR...It could go with this theory...Same theory I've found an explanation why Nick is still main character also in Api serie:
- Anyone remember the Api's trailer? It says: New attorney has claimed in defences bench, or something like that...
There wasn't ever a mention about: A new hero, or something...That's how I live with it...
I just think Apollo's just A NEW ATTORNEY, while Nick is still the head character.

I know...that theory is full of holes, but that's how I take it.

It IS true that Phoenix is pretty much running the game, whether he's the MAIN character is debatable, but I like that theory.

And here lies the rub. Who is the customer? If a company wants to sell their game, they need to appeal to the players. And if we want to have deKiller assasinate Apollo, then so be it! If we want a Phoenix game, then they will most likely make it. And the only reason (In my opinion) that people bought AJ is:
1. So they can still say: Hey, I beat all the AA games
2. Curiosity
3. Obligitory GS Love

And nobody (well okay, some people do, but a lot of people don't) expects Phoenix to be playable the whole game. Just... one.. bonus case, people! If you love Apollo so much, you don't even have to play it!

Maybe the final case could be split. Phoenix is the defence attorney, but Apollo has to take his place halfway through for whatever reason. Maybe underhand tactics by the guilty party force him out of action, like what happened to Franziska in JFA case 4.

At the very least I expect Phoenix to have more of a mentor role in AA5. Even if he isn't playable I expect he'll be back working as a defence attorney.
