Personally, I'd like GS5 to not use Psyche-Locks (especially, if Phoenix takes a backstage, this time). I feel that having Apollo do his percieving in court, is enough, rather than doing it out of court, as well.

But that's why the Perceive System is a bit more flexible than Psyche Locks. Some people can beat it because they're just that composed. Some may only have one tic, others have more, still others use one more than once. It all depends on the person, without having to depend on the luck of the Magatama.

And, if I remember correctly, Lamiroir had 2 ticks: one where she swallowed, and one where she barely moved her lips.

If the Psyche-Locks bring Phoenix back, by all means, CAPCOM should do it.

Also...

Did anybody notice how the Udgey mentioned the 'Percieve' option? That means people know about it. If the witness knew about Apollo's ability, then he would be able to beat the Percieve system. Sure, Apollo might be able to know that the witness is tense, but the witness could learn to hide that. The Magatama was able to make secrets breakable, to expose them. Nick probably coud guess that there was a secret, and he would have to use the Magatama to actually divulge the secret. The Magatama, if worded carefully, is always correct, unless someone can use their spiritual powers to hide their secrets or something. Percieve is not always correct, and can be hidden.

Why does it have to be if Nick is a lawyer again though? I think Nick could just explain about the Magatma to Apollo.

Psyche Locks, were indeed, amazing
I do prefer them over the percieve (sp) system, just because I enjoyed the idea that I can see the progress I'm making on the witness, (like, you have to break 5 locks one at a time....) whereas, w/ the bracelet, its like, find the nervous twitch on the witness (twice if you're lucky), then it just progresses like a normal court battle.
Percieve was also more tedious its like,

:noodle-hmm: "I......saw.......a.........mur.....der...." (in which time you must scan his entire body)
:noodle-hmm: "It.......was.........baaa....dd" etc.

I'm not saying I hate the percieve system, its not bad really, but I think, mabye Nick should just hand Apollo his magatama this Xmas,
then we have two systems to play w/! (one in and one out of court!)
I've probably just re-iterated what half of the above posts have said in a rather long and convoluted way, for which I apologise...

Why is everyone saying that Phoenix has to be a lawyer again to have psyche-locks? Apollo could get his own magatama, and it would be a perfect excuse to have a case with the Feys. :maya:

I would like to see another spirit chaneling case....
:godot:
Phoenix better not become a lawyer again, well when I say that, I mean he better not become the main character again..
I am getting used to Apollo now.... Nick could just give him his magatama as a Xmas pesent?
:odoroki: 'It's Xmas, I wonder what Mr Wright and Trucy got me?'
:minuki: 'Here's some rubbish Gramarye Merchadise....' *gives old dvd*
:odoroki: '~Mr Wright better have got me something better....~'
:hobohodo: 'Heya, you can have this, I have nothing better to give you' *gives magatama*
:odoroki: '~Awww, cheapskate.... :('
Then again, I did think Nick was utilised well in Succession... ( loved mini trial w/in 4-4 :D)

Personally, I never liked Psyche-Locks, sure it was a fun way to interrogate people but they always freak me out.... :payne:

Having said that, I like perceiving even less but I agree that it does seem a 'LITTLE' bit more reasonable...

Why does it have to be a Feys case to have the Magatama though? Nick could just explain a bit about them but it shouldnt have to be about them, IMO (I like the Feys).

I only said it would be a perfect excuse to have a case with them. But it seems unlikely that Nick would just give his magatama to Apollo permanetly, as it has sentimental value to him.

Personally, I would like them to come back for at least one case, Maya was the second-to-main-character in the first 3 games, but, their appearance, as stated, is not essential if Apollo ends up using the magatama, I can see the magatama returning though, Kristoph did have those black psyche-locks in 4-4....
And yeah, Nick will probably only just lend it to him...

Yes, they should appear. Along with :odoroki: 's perceive of course. It was an interesting touch for a gimmick inside court, but lets have the psyco locks back again, yes?

I believe that Maya will return in GS5, so there could be Psycho-Locks or some new "Kurain mystical stuff".
