-Uses a mechanical version there that actually works really good (It's 2026 already in there, probably!). But it shows metal.
-Judge sometimes reminds him to not slam his desk too hard, as the metal may damage it.
-He will do his opening speech and the start politely. Then, as he will notice that the defense is really ready, he will do his best to stay calm. But, if he's really close to losing, he will do epic anger expression. And the desk will suffer.
-No way to check this, but at the final case upon losing he will actually rip a piece of the desk. And leave a hole.
-Also, he sure is good. He has very few losses. They make about 4% of his results.

I'm not really sure where most people get these idea's from... a lot of them are just cloned ideas from the first games... so thinking out of the box is necessary. I've thought a lot about possibilities for the next two games in the series. I can't be sure what order this might happen... and a large part of this will be the next prosecutor.

Before that, there are quite a few things that people need to consider first, and this is why i rule out the dreamy choices people have made already.

I don't think the main prosecutor will be returning from a previous game.

Lana is right out. There is no way she wasn't disbarred and removed from her position at the end of that trail.

Maya is right out. She's passionate and has proven she should be the head of the Fay family.

Anyone with relations to the von Karma are right out.

I didn't bother to read any more responses. Too many seemed uninspired and I will not comment further.

Ruling these out as absolute facts, we can begin to see a face of a future prosecutor.

This person will be related to Apollo in some way (by blood). This person will be older then Apollo. This person will possess an ability of Apollo's father, one that Apollo does not yet know how to use. This person may have many similarities to Apollo, but is more experienced in the courtroom. This person is deeply connected to Apollo's past. I don't think they will be female.

I don't really think I can give any more details then that. I do believe the guest prosecutor will be Phoenix Wright, filling in for the Chief Prosecutor (Miles Edgeworth).

It will be Maya! And Phoenix is the defendant, and Maya wants to prove him guilty because he left her alone for those years. Andddd... She'll kill Trucy because she ruined Phoenix life. He's a hobo now and that's her fault.

None of this makes sense, does it? Well, whatever. It's Maya. OHHH WAIT :D First, we don't know her identidy! You know, just like Godot. And at the end... "I'M MAYA, WAHAHAHA! Hi Nick >=D Long time no see, huh. NOW I WILL NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN :D"
But... Then Trucy shows up, and she isn't dead. She's a magican, after all. So, Phoenix doesn't get the death sentence and Maya is mad. But then, uh, well nvm.

It's just Maya.

Very well, here is my entry:

The prosecutor will be male.

He will have black hair.

He will have short hair.

He will have straight hair (as opposed to curly or something, so it's not the same category as the above two "possible items," so he'll have short, straight black hair).

I specify that he WILL NOT be from Germany.

He will wear glasses.

He will wear professional attire (whether it's business attire or prosecutor attire or lawyer attire doesn't matter; he just won't wear casual clothing like Klavier).

He will be respectful to the judge.

LIKE Klavier and post-case-1-3-Edgeworth, but UNLIKE the von Karmas and Godot and pre-case-1-3-Edgeworth, he is more interested in finding the truth than he is in winning and will not resort to any corrupt tactics (no withholding evidence or witnesses, no cutting off the defense if they're making reasonable points, etc.).

He will not be QUITE as friendly and sympathetic to Apollo as Klavier was, but much more friendly and sympathetic than, say, the von Karmas or Godot.

Will be calm in the face of possible victory (as opposed to gloating and laughing like all the previous prosecutors), almost as though it was a simple matter of routine.

However, if Apollo successfully contradicts him in a way that he cannot immediately counter with another objection, his glasses will fly off his head in shock as he rears back before coming back down to rest on his face.

If he is defeated in court, he'll repeatedly bang his head on the desk in frustration (NOT on the wall, that was reserved for Manfred von Karma), but he'll go on a rant against HIMSELF for his own failure rather than go on a rant against the defense.

He will be a bookworm, often founding reading when not prosecuting.

He will be nice to the detective (no pay cuts or aggressive flirting, for instance).

However, the detective, as well as other characters in the game, will constantly complain that it is too difficult to read what he is thinking or feeling, unless he is being contradicted or downright BEATEN in court, which are the only times they THINK he shows emotion.

They will also complain that he seems indifferent, de-sensitized, and numb to the violence of the murders he encounters in the course of his work.

This will be inaccurate; he will be a very emotional person; it will just be that his emotions all take place inside his head.

They will also complain that he is boring, which he will take offense at and come close to, but not quite, snapping at them going on a rant saying there is nothing wrong with reading and nothing wrong with actually taking your job seriously and nothing wrong with actually being ethical.

The above traits will work against him in some way later in the game.

He will be the sort of person who prefers to be alone rather than partaking in crowds.

He will be straight (meaning, in this context, not gay or bisexual).

His taste in females will veer towards "innocent and practical" and NOT towards "sultry and voluptuous," e.g. he WOULD find cute women like Trucy Wright or Maya Fey or Maggey Byrde or Kay Faraday or Vera Misham or Ema Skye or Adrian Andrews or Iris Hawthorne or even a grown-up Pearl Fey attractive, but would NOT find big-breasted women like Mia Fey or Angel Starr or April May or Wakana Shiraoto (Gyakuten Kenji reference!) attractive.

He will specifically NOT fall in love with any of the above characters, even those I used them as examples of what TYPE of women he finds attractive.

He also does not like bossy and overbearing women like Lotta Hart or Wendy Oldbag or Franziska von Karma or Alita Tiala or Dahlia Hawthorne.

He will undergo a personality turnaround before the game is completely finished, perhaps learning that he does not always have to keep his emotions inside his head.

By the way, as you may have noticed by my post count, I am extremely new to this forum even though I've been lurking here for a while, so I am not sure if I have correctly followed this contest's guidelines. I THINK my entry is okay, because I didn't just say it would be Maya or Godot or some such and I didn't simply say "oh gee it's Apollo's father" even though Apollo's father DIED before Thalassa married Zak...sorry, I got off on a tangeant...

Here's my guess on the new prosecutor: She's a female who's approximately the same age as Apollo. They also knew each other since their days in the orphanage but hadn't seen each other for 10 years. She's a rookie with an impressive win record.She studies under Edgeworth and,even though she didn't ask, he looks after her and gives her advice during court. Her dress contrast from Apollo's. She wears a fancy white blouse and a blue skirt. Her hair is a long blonde type. She likes to find the truth first but wants to be the first one to find it.Lastly she normally beats Apollo in everything.

My Opinion, it will be:
1. Edgeworth, he will returns to test Apollo's skills maybe??
But at, the last case, Edgeworth will either died, or injured heavily, that Phoenix Wright took over his case
2. Or Apollo's Old Friend
3. Or Maybe even Phoenix's himself as his rival

Older Edegworth.

Dresses in crimson redish (like always), frilly shirt. He has grown a beard (Edgey with a beard, YES), and has just returned to prosecuting. He has changed quite a bit, and whiel always wanting justice, he is more lax than he used to be. He wants to test out Apollo's skills, due to him being the understudy.

He is very well spoken and clear, and tries not to make mistakes. When he does though, he reverts to his old heart attack pose. But with a beard.

For me, TNP would be Adrian Andrews

During the 7 year gap between T&T and AJ, she felt interested about law (because of Franziska, obviously) so she took up law school during those years. After she passed the bar exam, she became a prosecutor and become Edgeworth and Franziska's understudy. She had also heard of Phoenix's disbarment and Apollo being his new student so she wants to see what Apollo can do. She would then go on to face Apollo in her first trial, which also leads to the three of them meeting Wright once again.

She would also be an honest prosecutor like Klavier and happens to be an acquaintance. (So there would be more fraulein calling this time around) Her personality would be like Klavier's (guiding Apollo to his victory) but she would be as serious as Franziska. She would wear her 2-4 attire plus a dark blue jacket over her halter top. She would sport her 2-4 hair but only longer and she still wears glasses (somehow to make her look a little younger even though she would be 31 in AJ)

I'm not sure if anyone has suggested this already but in case they didn't the prosecutor will be... THE BLUE BADGER!
Really it's just a human in a badger costume you can't tell their gender. No one takes him seriously outside of court because of his ridiculous outfit but in court he drives a hard bargain and is very intellectual. He never takes the outfit off even while hes sleeping.

He modified the costume so that the mouth would move when he talked. When he gets under pressure his eyeballs pop out and then he replaces them.

He's actually a victim of from a past 8 year case with Phoenix he was burned and almost killed by his insane father. He has major burns that horrify anyone and the only comfort he found was with the blue badger.

Well, I'll really try to keep this based purely on the past formula for a Phoenix Wright prosecutor.

The prosecutor will not be female, and will be around the same age as Apollo. He will most likely have blue eyes, as all prosecutor characters (with the exception of those wearing glasses) in the game thus far have had blue eyes in one shade or another. He will not have any relation to Apollo or Phoenix initially, but will get to know Apollo over the course of the game. Even at the very end, he will not admit to admiring or liking Apollo or his ideals in any way, but will make a crucial decision that will affect the outcome of a case.

He will have a reason behind his choice to become a prosecutor, but it will not be for the sake of true justice, as he will quickly be able to recognize whether or not the defendant is guilty, maybe because of an ability similar to Apollo's or Trucy's. He'll be a smooth talker, but won't truly think much of interpersonal relationships. As a matter of fact, he'll be downright lazy when it comes to looking out for the well-being of others, hence the fact that he doesn't point out a defendant's innocence or truly believe in justice. Like every previous prosecutor, he will have a gimmick. I think that behind his calm and collected exterior, he'll be a huge fan of shows like "The Steel Samurai," or maybe magic shows, to keep with the new magician theme Apollo Justice seems to have.

As for appearance, I really will just be taking a few wild guesses. His clothing will look inappropriate for court, conveying someone who is clearly extremely intelligent, but who just doesn't give a damn about first impressions based on appearance, and the judge will express concern for his informal dress. His clothing may look a little like Hobo Phoenix's, but he won't wear a hat. His hair will not be a natural color, my guess is that it will be a darker blue, to a degree that isn't overwhelmingly distracting, but that is definitely recognizable. The style will be delicate and feminine in appearance, but will be cut above shoulder length. When confident, the prosecutor will appear disinterested, possibly just looking at their fingers or something, but will have a condescending smirk noticeably plastered on their face. However, when he has the lower hand, he'll begin tearing at his hair.

Well, I think it'll be a male.
He'll have shiny black hair ( color) combed like and he won't be very tall at all(160 cm).
He'll wear a black T-shirt underneath with two orange stripes running down the center. Over that he'll wear a black jacket like this one, with the zip open so the shirt can be seen.
He'll also wear wide black sunglasses like these. Plus, he'll be a cigarette smoker.

He'll act similar to , minus the phenomenal phrases. He'll always keep his cool, no matter the situation. He often leans his head down to make the sunglasses slide down a bit and look out of them, smiling slightly. Other animations include him kicking the wall behind him, or him smoking and blowing the smoke up at the ceiling.
He always keeps his hands in his pockets, except when he smokes. He keeps his voice low most of the time, objections included. He gets his cigarettes from his jacket's side pocket and, when he finishes one, he rubs it on his stand until it disintegrates. When he's angry, he squishes the cigarette in his hand, making the ash fall down. He'll have a theme song, which is in the trance/techno genre.

He has a strong bond with which is later discovered to be a relationship. The second case of the game, when he appears, is his first case, and he knew about Phoenix and Maya by Viola. He doesn't know about Viola's criminal underworld family and he discovers this in the last case, where they both have an enormous role. There is a part in that case where Viola is suspected, and this prosecutor still wants her guilty. Phoenix/Apollo then discovers that this was because of his discovery of her family. At the end he understands Viola isn't a criminal unlike her family, and the relationship goes on.
He became a prosecutor to punish criminals, which he hates because of the death of his family many years before. This also explains his anger against Viola after knowing about the family.
