Maybe a case where Odoroki loses, and his client is executed- only to figure out in a later case he was innocent?

- The new prosecutor is Odoroki's long lost evil twin, fraternal not identical, brother. He has the other Minuki bracelet and wants Odoroki's so he can use both to further his political carreer. Besides being the killer in the last case, it also turns out he helped the villains in GS5's previous cases frame Odoroki's clients.
- 5-2 or 5-3 starts with Odoroki and Minuki being invited to an outdoor Garyuu Wave concert at the beach.
- Or, failing that, some other excuse to get Minuki in a swimsuit. Which would probably be a modest one piece design.
- I second the idea of having a Gorilla-with-a-keyboard for a witness.
- I would also like Takita and Makoto to return as potential witnesses, but not as couple. Not yet anyway.

I doubt very much that any characters from the past games will be brought back for any significant appearances. (Like victims/defendants of cases) Capcom knows that their fans like their favorite characters alive, and it wouldn't really make much sense for the people who only started playing at GS4. Although I wouldn't be TOO surprised if they incorporated the characters just enough to make fans giggle and people who didn't play the earlier games want to know who this person is...

Max Galactica and Regina Berry are married, and they go back to living a quiet life back at Max's farm with his parents. One day, a person or animal gets murdered and one of the peeps get blamed for it.
Then stuff like Alien abductions and Crop Circles happen, and then Max goes "Help me, oh FABULOUS lawyer person who knows Phoenix Wright!"...
...And we find out that Regina Berry is actually an alien. She then kidnaps Odoroki and runs away with him in a UFO.
Okay, maybe not that last part, but I would really love to see Max and Regina working on a farm like the ones in Australia... ^^;
Also, I'd like Penny Nichols to return... Ever since case 1-3 she's not been heard from at all... (Usually people that don't get arrested or killed return later as minor characters. Look at Adrian Andrews...)

I mean, maybe that sounds like a bad idea, since the whole premise of the game has always been based around murder cases, but all I'm saying is, I remember the last case of PW2...
... So, basically, what I'm saying is, try out something new in terms of the legal cases. Don't get me wrong, I love a good murder trial, but then again, I'd like to see something new. It'd also bring a whole aspect of new interactivity to the series, in terms of the DS.
Failing that, since I know nothing of what takes place in the fourth title of the series, or even the third to a degree since I'd rather wait on it than read any spoilers and such, maybe bring an international aspect to the proceedings? - Travelling outside of Japan/Los Angeles might be worth a shot.

Sounds interesting. But, I guess on that note, I should rephrase my idea in the way that they move entirely away from a typical murder case, for example, to something else you can do to break the law.
And like, I don't know. Go into a Jungle, or some Lost Caves. Meet Bigfoot.

EDIT: Shit, here's a thought. Why not make some sort of spin-off dating game, in which you have to win someone's heart through the trial of love. You know, present... romantic evidence, talk to other people to uncover clues as to the object of your affection's personal taste, unlock the psyche lock of their heart... or something.
Seriously. I'm going out on a limb, here. Would it make it any easier if I said familiar female cast members played a role, and yeah, you could possibly get some secret ending with Phoenix/Edgeworth getting drunk in a bar, talking about women, and getting a cab ride home?

I want Odoroki to lose a case in GS5: namely the first or second case. That might help pace up his character development. He would lose and feel bad (not emo) about it, still believing that his client was innocent. The last case he would catch up that case again and Odoroki pwns.
Or he would take a case where he is defending a significant person (friend?). Maybe a beloved character from the PW era? And what if that person is really the murderer? That would make him have to choose between "pursuit the truth" or "save a good friend". Crazy, I know (and I'm not entirely sure about this
)I'm in the thoughts that Kyouya takes the spot as the main prosecutor once again. And I'm not entirely sure about Edgeworth dropping by. The only PW prosecutor I'd like to see once again on the prosecution bench is Godot, er I mean Franziska. If she had some significant character development during the timeline gap, that would be awesome.
That idea for the final case sounds good - but isnt that like 2-4, save a good friend or let a murderer go free?

I want odoroki to be obsessed by his job

which annoys nick,
however, at the end of the game,
you find out that this person was innocent all along,
this could also give nick reason to prosecute.

Since GS2 introduced Psy-lockes, probably, they can do that again with Odoroki. NO! Phoenix does not give Odoroki the magatama
Since his bracelet gives his the power to see nervousness, maybe its another power the bracelett hands him. Since he doesn't know what they are Minuki Explains that they are a new form of Psy-locke. Where its not only you present Evidence to people but also have to check for nervous actions, like in court.Of course case 1 will be easy, but each case is about teaching you the mechanics as you don't know, but since the Amneisa has been done in 2-1, this hasc- to be something new. I haven't thought that far ahead, but give me time.
As for cameo's of older characters, just have pictures on the desk, for example a picture Minuki and Pearl as kids Odoroki asks "Is this your sister Minuki?" as she replies "No just a friend of Papa's, we used to go to the mountains every so often to visit them" and so on, same with Edgeworth as he asks phoenix about it. ect.

That would make an awesome case, yes.
I, of course, suspect it to have something to do with his job. After all he is basicly the "prosecutor" (Edgey is the rival, von Karma is the Chuck Norris, Franny is the BDSM'er, Godot is the philosiphical coffee-maniac, and Gyuuya is the musician) of the game.
I suspect it's a killer that Payne didn't clearly get through He screws up, and the killer get's convicted. Or perhaps just a relative to the killer. Alternately, have it be Payne's first win in 10 years, where he get's an INNOCENT guy found guilty. And have a relative to THAT person kill Payne?
