I also think Apollo needs to do something absolutely awesome. Phoenix had his crowning moment in when he beat Von Karma in game 1, I think Apollo needs something that significant to happen to him.
I just want more focus on my beloved Scissorhead generally.

1) The multiple flashbacks suck BAD. We don't need them that often.
2) We need some characters from GS4 to return, but, as usual, only if they're important to the case. Brushel will probably be back....ugh. Especially considering that

3) A TOTALLY epic case. It was said in the credits that Apollo "didn't know what law was" yet or something--let's help him with that. ^_^
4) If ANY PW-arc characters come back, it should be restricted to Pearl, Maya, and Edgeworth; maybe Larry, maybe Franziska, maybe Gumshoe--but, again, only if there is a HUGE reason that involves Phoenix AND Apollo. But, other than that, no more. As for personality changes, Pearl can still be shy without overdoing it (me=perfect example XP) and Maya could be goofy around friends (though mature when need be around them and others).
5) More gimmick usage--as in, scientific investigation and the Perceive system. If they're going to utilize the DS features, then UTILIZE them, dammit.
6) As is the tradition of these games, a new prosecutor is needed and probably will appear. Going against someone totally the OPPOSITE of Klavier may provide the opportunity for (3) to come true.
7) Maybe some Gavin-centered backstory. Again, only if it'll work or is important to a case.
8) Though the writing was a bit confusing in some spots, I will say the writers did pretty well at connected the cases. I'd like that to continue, and if possible, work with connecting the games. I know they've done this in the PW-arc, but it just seems as though it was more intricate in AJ.
And...that's my list.

I think GS3 is the best because that one is still the most realistic of all (for me) and the game shouldnt focus so very much
at comedy.
It dissappointed me in GS4 the comedy was way to expanded, I want a thrilling exciting and above all a hard case so I can imagine being a lawyer which I cant when playing the o-so-funny apollo.

- I... well, pretty much everyone and their grandmother would like to see/know what happened to Edgeworth and a few other characters. I would like for GS5 not to be a parade of memories, though. The Apollo series seems to be clearly its own set of games and I'd like to see the designers avoid marching everyone and anyone through for 'old times sake.' New characters, new things, yes. But a little explanation wouldn't hurt, either.
- Some good "baddies" would be nice--I'm not asking for a second Gant (haha) but something (someone?) interesting would be great. I was a little disappointed/frustrated with GS4 on that front.
- I'd like to see Klavier (good lord I keep forgetting his name) still as a prosecutor, although I don't think it'll happen.
- Basically I'd like to see everything that wasn't explained in GS4 cleared up. :| Or at least most of it.

... I think I can back that... although as Phoenix Wright is as much ABOUT comedy sometimes as it is being thrilling, I'd hate to see it go completely. Just maybe a little less WTF and a little more OMG, so to speak? Or not. I kind of like the way GS4 was handled. (Oh my gods, how indecisive can I sound?) Argh, I just want a good game. xD /fail

Maybe it's just because watching that video over and over and over made it easier to scrutinize, but "The Guitar's Serenade" was really bad-looking. And I don't remember the graphics from 1-5's security tape being so terrible.

- I want to be able to present character profiles to other people and as evidence at will AGAIN. I was actually sad they took that out on AJ. It made an already-simple game even simpler. If I say the decisive evidence it X guy (even if I'm dead wrong), then let me choose X guy as decisive evidence!

1.) As much as I love Hobohodo, Phoenix is obviously unhappy when he's not doing something related to law. To have him take the bar exam again and regain his badge OR to even be some other part of the court system... that would suit him better than pretending to play piano and kicking ass at poker.
2.) Tell us where the heck Maya is these days. Is Kurain finally flourishing again? I don't even care about Pearl, but if Phoenix is going to remain in the Apollo arc, we need to know what's going on with his right-hand woman.

The sole reason for Maya and Pearl not with Phoenix is 'cause they're running the Kurain Village. Maya became the Master after T&T, so she has to take in the position as leader.
Ema will still be around, but Gumshoe should still be there in the area. So it's good to wonder what happened to him.
Klavier staying as prosecuter in the next game is not really recommended. We've already gone through the Gavins, so there's no point in him being there unless he's helping on the final case(Not as prosecuter though)

...also, I would really love to see Klavier develop as a prosecutor. As it stands, he's kinda a static character who just loves the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, which is nice...but for such a cool character, he needs some more in-depth looks at his personality. Just for realism's sake.

A 3-day trial! Seriously! 3/5 trials in AA are 3 days, and in the next 3 games we haven't had a single one! Considering they did it 3 times in AA, I don't think it would be too difficult to do it one more time.

Maybe a case where the defendant is an older Pearl/Maya too.
What about a case where Ema is the defendant, thus making reference to 1-5, or would that be a flashback too many?
All the black and white flashbacks so far in Gs4 have kind of annoyed me as they spell things out for you!
Having a case in GS6 where PW is the victim would be awesome, well not awesome per se as I love Phoenix but I can see it being very powerful and emotional. I think you should be allowed to present profiles as evidence again.

2) Have Nick become the final villian and have Apollo face off him in court, EPIC win, then walk out of the shadows of being used by Nick and being able to stand on his own.
3) Have Klavier have the same amount of screentime Edgeworth had in PW 1-3. A case involving the Gavins' past where Krissi's not the villian would be EPIC, Polly defending Klavi will be great. Otherwise I can't imagine what else can happen...Klavi lost his band and his brothers all in one go. not much he could lose now =w=
and no PW characters.

I don't understand why so many people want to kill Phoenix. ;_;

Actually, I think if Apollo were to have 3 games, and GS7 were to have no ties to any previous characters whatsoever, killing Phoenix for the last trial of GS6 would actually make a pretty powerful and emotional ending to all of it.

I loved the story art from AA! When they had that whatever-you-call it in JFA I was kinda disappointed, since story art is so much cooler. T&T I felt a little better about it. Then I was crushed in AJ when they had nothing at all. Is it really too much to ask to put together 3 images you've already made? I mean really! T_T

- use character profiles, it made it more difficult you'd be like, profile or evidence?
- more responses on presenting evidence outside of court at least on PW they might say something funny
-MORE CASES AND MORE TRIAL DAYS! it felt too short Dx
- new prosecutor, i love klavier but he helped us too much, like in 4-4 u only presented an evidence and the rest he does it, we want to be like: oh shit what do we do now? we don't have proof! or something like that
- mentions of PW characters and what r they doing
-plot twists, i dunno, apollo falls from a bridge and can't go to court and u use klavier xDDD (kidding kidding), -
-apollo's life in danger if he doesn't get his client guilty(omg that'd be awesome 8(>.<)8 )
-more use of perceive system, even outside of court
-no more hickfield/hotti clinic, i hate that doctor Dx
- less phoenix, i love him but i want more more apollo, have him appear sometimes and talk to him for advice
- more character development
- more danger and suspense, and more competitive prosecutors
- AND LESS HELP, it's like: There wasn't a gun in the crime scene, or on the investigation days, something changed in the crime scene but i dunno what it is -_-
-more DS features

In GS1, when you beat a case (excluding Rise from the Ashes), when you selected that case in the 'new game' screen you'd see story art about that case instead of the court background. In GS2 and 3 they did something similar (it wasn't story art--it was a main character and a pic from that case in the background)
For instance, here is the Story Art for 1-2:

Do you have GS1, 2, or 3? If you do (and have at least completed the first case) then just select 'new game' and you'll see what I mean immediately.

If edgeworth and gumshoe came back, it would be even better
^but they will all be minor characters though
and more of Apollo's and the Gavins' past
and it should definitely have Phoenix ditch the hobo-ness and get his badge back

I definitley want to see some of the pw characters back! cmon, these games need to have some connections,
. I want lana back as a prosecuter i want ema to return. I want Iris to be DATING pheonix, they dont have to nescisarilly get together, just go on a DATE atleast! i want larry, maya, and pearl back, they dont need to be involved in every case, but have them as witnesses maybe. I want lots of apollo story/backround. But what i want the most in gs5 is something that blows my mind away, everyone talks about what if they did this again, or what if they did that. I want something that i didnt even think about, and that blows my mind completley. also, i would like three day trial cases, lots of DS features, some cool new characters, and ALOT of cases, cmon they could cram 5 cases into gs3, whicih was made for the game boy advance originally, they could probobaly push the boundaries and try for 6 cases in a game ( or maybe 5 cases where 1 case is a 4 day trial)WOW, a 4 day trial. Now that could be really epic!
