We already got to see Mia in trial in game 3. Personally I felt those were two of the weakest cases in the series and her personality holds zero interest for me. What would be the point? We've already seen the two cases that had the most emotional impact on her. She would be practicing in a time in which Edgeworth and von Karma both had perfect records, so they'd be limited in which prosecutors they could use. And even if you managed to create a dramatic story, it would still have to end with "And then she got bashed in the head and died."
I just don't see the appeal of moving that far back in the timeline at this point. Better to save it for the fangames.

Anyways, for the reasons Croik stated, a Mia GS couldnt work, it'd be pretty disheartening to lose over and over again to Manfred and Edgeworth. Lol. Supposedly, they could just have Payne as the prosecutor for all 4-5 cases, but there's not really any sense of accomplishment in beating him, except for when he loses his hair in 3-1. Personally, I'd rather have another Apollo Justice game, where we actually see some character development with Apollo.

Good point though, neo. Plus, they could also just make another prosecutor if they were doing a Mia game. Although it'd be cool to lose the ifrst case in the game to Edgeworth or Karma, and then the rest of the time Maya's struggling to improve her skills. And then the last case, she faces off against Karma on some really big case, and almost wins, but something happens (Although this has been done for 2 other cases so far) that causes the trial to be permanently ceased.

I would love to see a female protagonist in a future AA (anything to break the "20s guy, teen girl" pattern) but returning to Mia is like beating a dead horse.

When it came down to it, despite being a critical cast member, she never amounted to anything. She never challenged Delilah with dialog (Super Objection doesn't count); and didn't talk down Godot. Really, what DID she do in the Phoenix chapters? Capcom had a golden opportunity to developer her and squandered it.
If they're going to revive her as a protagonist, I want to see a REASON. 'Just because' doesn't fly, they used that card in GS3 and it amounted to nothing.

Ok, you got me there. Oh well, I so wanted to see Neil in action, but your argument has made me lose my hope.
I never really liked older-Mia, and younger Mia just seemed too samey to a begging Phoenix and Apollo. But it was the first two cases that she did so it was understandable.

Like others have said, I think a Mia game would be a disservice to the franchise. I like Mia, but they had so many chances to broaden her personality, but didn't. I had fun playing her in those two T&T cases, but a full game would be really boring.

I would really prefer if they stick with one continuous timeline. If you did a What If story with Mia during the time of Phoenix's games it wouldn't make any difference, because she already shows up in almost every one of his cases. She'd have to have her own set of cases, except then it wouldn't make sense if she didn't try the cases where Maya was in trouble. You might as well just hack the rom and replace Phoenix's sprites with Mia's, and there you go, lol.

1-1, Phoenix gives up early but thanks to Mia's "think outside the box" hint, Phoenix understands
1-2, Phoenix was screwed because he didn't look at the front of the receipt. Even then, he didn't win until Mia pretty much blackmailed White
1-3, Mia gets Cody to talk. Edgeworth also helped.
1-4, Can't remember exactly, but she did appear here. Oh, but Larry was the one that saved Edgeworth, even after the guilty verdict.
1-5, Even though Maya wasn't even part of this case, Phoenix hears Mia talk to him after Phoenix gets in a tight spot.
I realize he was just a starter here, but it did still happen in the other games. Not saying Phoenix is totally hopeless though, just that Mia saved his skins a little more than a few times.

Personally, as a main character, Mia is underdeveloped. Think about it. We got a glimpse of her personality, and whatnot. However, we only had 2 cases to play as her, and other times, she was dead. :P
I'd love to see Mia Fey from 2013-2016, a trilogy of sorts. I'd like to see harsh figures of Mia's past try to rise against her. I'd like to see her face off with Lana Skye in 2015. I'd like another clash with Bratworth (with, of course, either no verdict or another 2-4 thing).
Mia has a lot of potential. I'd like to see another Apollo game, just because he's so underdeveloped himself, but a Mia game would make me excited.
