I figured that it was about time to post a topic for the translation of The Turnabout of Haruhi Suzumiya, which is currently in progress. A way to insert translated text was found (back in 2007, and was rediscovered recently). The team we have right now is good for the most part, but we do need voice actors (and if you're good at editing graphics then we could use you as well).

Here are the characters we need voice actors for:
In the original Japanese version of the game, the characters listed above all have voice clips for "Objection!", "Hold It!", and "Take That!"
We do not know if you do in fact, hear Yuki Nagato say "Take That!" or hear Mikuru Asahina say "Objection!", so we're playing it safe and requesting that your submissions have all three of the above shouts.


How to apply:

• Record your voice with a microphone saying the words needed for that character. Do NOT add the SFX yourself, the game automatically plays the "Objection" SFX at the same time the voice clip is played.
• Upload the file using any method you want and post it here, or send it to me via PM.
• Your submission must include the following:
  
  • The character you are auditioning for
  • Your nickname (we DO want to give credit for the use of your voice)
  • And a link to your uploaded voice clips

A poll will determine which voice will be put in the final release.

Sorry, my mistake. A lot of my post above was taken and modified from this post back in 2011, and didn't catch that mistake. I've modified the first post to fix my mistake.

I would love to voice act for the game! This anime is one of my favorites and I've always wanted to play this series of games and actually know what's going on. That being said, I'll start practicing for this. Maybe Kyon?
