For some reason, the error occurs once I put in your commands.

Maybe you have a different version of PWLib? I might not have that command.

Any other way? Thanks:D

Also, do you know when more characters will be released for PWLib? I'm having trouble creating the game without certain characters that I need.

Thanks!

I have no idea. It depends on people to do them, as I don't have time to do so.

I don't keep much track of who is doing who, but I know the Geno was working on Miles Edgeworth.

Edit: Post the chars you need done, it will be easier if someone is willing to animate a character.

New on AIGE:
-gettexturesize: gets the w and h sizing of a texture.
-buildtexture: builds the texture without needing to assign it to an object.

I need Wesley Sticker's breakdown animated to make the support for front to bench on PWLib.

Why? Wouldn't any other animation work just as fine?

I'm still making progress on Apollo, on a bi-weekly basis, so it'll take a while before he's done.

I've written a simple script that changes many AA1-3 graphics to their AA4 equivalents by replacing the texture references. Mostly backgrounds and GUI stuff. It's so that those "Courtroom slide" and "show witness stand" functions can be used in a AA4 styled game without duplicating those functions.
Additionally, those arrows that I mentioned a while back are practically done, if I remember correctly, but given all the changes to the pwlib core it's probably best if I send you, KSA, the altered files and you decide for yourself what to implement and how to implement it.
When it's done, that is.

Yes, and a question:
It seems the background that should show up when in "talk" mode doesn't exist (the one with phoenix' silhouette). I noticed this while adding AA4 graphics.
Are you going to add this background at some point?

Ok, since I'm conviced I'm using this for my case, I need to know what characters can be used.

Is there a list, perhaps?

Thanks in advance.

Valant (both versions) is in (I knew i was going to forget someone).

Old Ema was made by Serio recently (not on 1.1, but will be by default on 1.2).

Now we have a list of wanted characters, so someone can make them.

It depends on people. Animating in PWLib isn't hard. The hard part is to make the sheet correctly.
Depending on the pose, it can be easily done in 5 to 10 minutes.

I think so. The sheet is the longest part of animating in AIGE, I think. Few animations do require a fine tuning timing (breakdowns, long animations such as some surprised poses) or extended sheet management (those without a static base, like table slams, for example).

Apollo is one good example having a bit of both.

Example of easy to make characters: Lamiroir and Machi (except his last one)

KSA, Stickler thing.
pw_enablesticklertest to enable.

I might grab the silhouette images when I have the time and feel like playing through the first case of AA1/2/3 and A4. I will not object if someone else caps them though. First cases are booooring, but the first Talk segments are in the second cases.

Manella,
All those character will probably take a very long time to complete. At least at the current rate.
I planned on doing Klavier once I got Apollo done, but it'll be a while before that happens, as said before.
We'll see.
It'd probably be best if you taught yourself to do pwlib animations and animated some of those characters. Things would speed up considerably.

My opinion about the characters:

-Easy
Lamiroir (ALL of her poses are static)
Machi (almost all of his poses are static)
Winfred Kitaki (Letouse static x 3)
Drew Misham (all static, few poses)
Zak (mostlye static, very few possible issues)

-Medium
Plum Kitaki (mostly static, but she with the broom can the issue-y)
Wocky Kitaki (mostly static, some just need a bit different placement)
Kristoph (his breakdown is static, can be tricky just to time)
Guy Eldoon (his song pose = problem to time)
Stickler (timing on breakdown)

-Hard
Brushel (lengthy animations)
Klavier (timming + align issue together)

But no one beats Daian. He and his "looooong" hair...

Hardest animations on AJ (IMO, no special order)

Page 99, the character addition tutorial. It explains how you script a character's animation (not hard, just time consuming).

You can look also on a finished char for reference. I recommand looking on le touse first (as he has few anims, easy to get the idea).

Lamiroir status: 100% sheets, 30% hlsl file code (creating animations).

I'll upload a new version of the pdf generated with Acrobat instead of Word 2007.

@Manela
Position each frame and defining their positions. I think i'll need an example with an image to explain.

Kanaria by itself will be one last lang to even think on developing. I need the full set of commands from cm2 to start it (and I don't think I'll get it from the author).

Hey KSA_Tech, this might be difficult to answer at the moment, but might you be able to post the scripting for introduction videos? I need to put one in my game, and the PWLib in a Nutshell does have a intro movies section, but it says it will be done later.

Sorry if this causes troubles, but I really need that script. Please help:D Thanks!

You cna try checking out case 1-1 for reference if your intro is simple. If not, we will need to talk on msn or such.
