Nitpick 2.0! (spoilers maybe)
Spoiler:
-When Mishiva takes the stand, there should be a fadeout- fadein.
-For one of her lines, the camera is on Phoenix.
-I did miss one of the lines, but I don't see what whether anyone is there has to do with the paint stains or with signing the paperwork
-When phoenix points shortly after, the wrong sfx plays.
-I also don't really get Phoenix's explanation.
-Don't have the objection and scroll at the same time.
-When a list comes up, you can't look at the Court Record.
-Cornered plays at a pretty strange time, make it earlier when Phoenix says something.
-The two arrows should show ONLY during cross-examination.
-The game kinda just stops.

Man, Payne is pretty pitiful in this.

Ok sorry for not having a title on this thing, I got about 70 page of script done, a complete (and original) engine I wrote in Multimedia Fusion giving me a lot of creative freedom, but I finally put together something that will serve my dual purpose:

- Show people the game
- Get some people that know how to draw to help me with it

So without further adieu... behold the intro to Case 1 (which is actually already complete except for like missing one background or something)

You can now download the court portion of the game at my NCFC booth here, just extract the rar into one folder, no install is necessary and you can delete the entire folder whenever you're done and it won't have left traces elsewhere :yogi:

I am still very much looking for people with a passion for editing sprites to submit some to me, complete or incomplete, animated or not; I am not a good artist and it's pretty much on the charity of others that art ever gets into my games, naturally you'll be fully credited like mah dude Lynx who did Anoint Matisse's sprite for me.

Let me say again I won't be that picky; edits are fine, but the harder to recognize the better, submit as many as you want and I'll put up some archetypes for what type of characters I need to have.

Further; this includes fanart for the "Case" pictures on the selection screen, I'd love to see original art for this so everything isn't just rubberstamped from what already exists in the Ace Attorney universe. I have a few people lined up to contribute to this but if you really fancy doing original AA art and you feel you're up to throwing down a small picture, let us talk!

Thank you for all your comments in advance!!!

This is gonna sound pretty weird but MrCheeze does the game appear to run really slow for you? Because it shouldn't just end there is actually a resolution at the end of it with a 'to be continued' screen.

Working on the other issues - plus a ton of others in the investigation :yogi: - here in my cave

Just a little slow (paticulary the "Witness Testimony") (don't worry about it, it's my computer not your game which is better than most), and I waited just a bit in the whole-court view after you prove that thing about the fight but nothing happened.

Hmmm; well I'll have to see what I can do to optimize memory usage in here though - I noticed one thing, if you have duplicate DLLs it slows the game down A LOT, so delete all of them but that last one I gave you and see if that helps, in the next build I'll be sure to have a few other features going that will minimize the use of memory too

The game is actually quite fast (except the witness testimony animation), but it turns out it occasionally freezes at the full-court view with no text. I have no idea what causes it.

An unrelated bug, you can move through text while court is scrolling, causing bugs. Try it on Payne's gulp right before you cross-examine the first testimony.

Unfortunately been aware of that one for awhile, I am happy to report it's actually already fixed though.

What consumes my time now is the controls in the investigation, it's almost completely done but I did a few strange things with the Court Record in that mode
