Wh... What!? O.O
Someone actually played this?

Glad to see you liked it. :godot: If you have any ideas for how to make this more interesting, please tell me, because I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of annoyed at how nobody else has played it here. >.>

Well, while I would actually want to wait until the entire thing is released, I'll make a short report tomorrow. (It's been a bit a while since I last played it...)

Actually, I was referring to the non-alluring premise and unimpressive screenshots. XD

That was while it was in its starting stages. Now they're good. :pearl:

I played this. It's definitely headed in the right direction.

Here's to hoping more people do play this and that it does get finished. :)

Glad to see you enjoyed! :)

Don't worry, I'm 100% confident it WILL get finished, and the rest of the case will likely be out early October. I have one CE done as well as the complete ending. I have two CEs in progress as well, and there are only 3 left to complete.

All sprites have also been fixed.

I've got a new version.
One of defendant's sprite set seems to have bad transparency.

Spoiler: space saver

I don't remember that bug from earlier version.
...And too bad that Flint still doesn't have co-council sprites (but Leon finally got his Objection! animation, yay!).

Also you may think about better differentiation of evidence.
Four pieces of evidence in a row (poster, crime scene photo, band practice photo and map) have the same icon in the court records which is little confusing.

Thanks for your suggestions~ :3

If I get get you to hold off that would great, the new patch will up be tonight. The reason that error occurs is because I edited that with Paint.Net as Photoshop wasn't working at the time and Paint doesn't have transparency. However, Paint.NET automatically saves in an indexed colour mode, which PyWright doesn't fully support (at least to my knowledge) and turns transparency into black. This is fixed in the new patch.

I never knew you played part one, by the way, make sure that after finishing the case you leave a review so I know that you've played it. xD

I tried the game out nudelman, and, well, it needs some polish.
I won't complain about sprites, but it does seem you're limited with only a few for each character, which is unfortunate.
When viewing evidence, I got confused alot. Almost all of them use the generic photo evidence picture. It would be a good idea to take the photo's themselves and re-size them, and put them into evidence sprites.
As for dialogue, Will spoiler for this:
Spoiler:
Some characters just went on and on when it came to explaining things, and it got kind of irritating. When Leon is going on about the murder at one point, you're focused on him and there isn't a cut to anything, like a black and white picture, to make what he's saying interesting and it kind of threw me off. When you have character talk like that it's also important to simplify what's being explained other wise you might lose the player. Payne came off as way over-confident, (more then his usual self) and the conversations between him and Flint didn't seem necessary. There's also the issue with text. Whether the text moves slow, or it speeds up real fast, tells us how the characters are feeling and how they act. It wouldn't be a bad idea to throw in some sound effects to help with that as well.

As for the case
Spoiler:
The bit where you had to point out what hand the defendant was dominant with was kinda hard to figure out. The evidence with that character is REALLY hard to see. I did see some neat things done, but some more polish on the case is strongly needed.

Overall, Not bad so far, but the game could use alot of work in terms of production, dialogue, and handing the case.

Thanks for playing, and lol, I definitely see where you're coming from with each of your points.

About the photos, yeah, that was recommended to me by DarthWiader. I'll try to fix them. xD

Spoiler: Assorted Production Values
Sprites: Ah good advice, I'll make sure to fix this in Rendezvous. ;)
Special Effects: Aaahh I agree completely, but I tried my best, I really did. :sadshoe: I'll try to improve for the next case.
Dialogue: Honestly I didn't think it was too bad but once again I can see where you're coming from. I'm working on a side project to improve this so hopefully it will be better later on in the series.

Once again, thanks a lot, always glad you hear someone's suggestions. ^^ I'll try to make Rendezvous a much more refined case.

A good thing to try is play the DS games and study them thoroughly. I know it sounds insane, but I've played Ace Attorney everyday since it came out and a lot of good has come of it by knowing characters and the actions that happen in those games. :godot: other media that involve mysterys can help too.
