1) I don't like the idea of color-coded objections. And, if you are using custom sprites, it doesn't make any sense coding objections for your temporal sprites.

2) Karma's on his final testing phase. Animations are 99.99% complete, all 100% but one, the Snap one. Expect a .zip today.

OK, all animations except Snap one are 100% complete. In fact, I had already uploaded the .zip when I realised it had a glitch. A BIG one. So it'll take some time to fix. But, as I said, Karma will be ready before the end of the day. Expect something around 6/7 PM UTC-3.

All right, sounds good. Oh! Don't forget to put the "snap" SFX at the correct point in the animation, like with Phoenix's desk slam.

Don't worry! The "Snap" sfx is actually "sfx-clang.wav", and it goes in the last, 8th frame. If it's placed before, it doesn't give the delay effect the animation uses.

And also, of course, all "sfx-deskslam.wav" are placed in all Headbang, Super Headbang and Desk Slam animations.

Oh, and strike that time (6/7 UTC-3). Karma will arrive in around 1/2 hour.

Hm... just noticed something. Is it just me, or will Turnabout Taco be just about the only Case 1 in which Payne is not the prosecutor? I think I might be guilty of Ace Attorney blasphemy. :payne: :youngpayne: :payne-stroke:

Aha, found one! That a good long look at the Karma Normal blink animation. At a certain point, his eyelids are stuck half-open.

Also, much less noticably, all of Karma's blinks are kind of weird. Every time he blinks, he closes his eyes, half-opens them, closes them, and then opens them. He should only be blinking once.

The same happens with the confident one.
On the note, the expressions that talking = silent, disabling the lipsync avoid issues.

Now, tell me some more so I can produce an update (updating for every single fix is stupid. And tiring)

EDIT: Both bugs are due to a very easy to commit mistake. For example, in this case, Normal Blinking Karma's sheet is composed of two blinks, but separated with a 200 lenghted frame. What happened? Well, there are two 200 lenghted frames, the first one and the one separating both blinks. Here, instead of timing 200 the eyes-closed one that separates both blinks, I timed 200 the eyes-mid-closed, causing that one to stay longer. I bet that's what happened with the other ones.

Anyway, KSA, what do you mean? Should I just delete the "setcharacterlipsynctalking" line? Because I also set lip sync to noone, but just in case I left both talking and silent commands. If it's OK to delete unuseful talking ones, I'll do so.

Yeah, I'm not really sure what he means. I think he's saying that where the talking and silent animations for an expression are the same, you should use setlipsynctonoone to avoid animation issues.

Notice the setlipsynctochar being called at the appropriate time? No problem for your inexpert coder.
Also kind of important to notice that we call karmasnap, which plays, and then goes on to karmasnapped. So if :karma: snaps, and then the screen moves over to :phoenix: , and then we move back to :karma: , he can still be in his snapped position.

You can set both to the same, it isn't a problem, but when you use that, it is recommended that you disable lipsync for that pose when using it if some text pops up (but no automatic disable of the lipsync on the pose function, it isn't a good practice).

Don't worry. :payne: will be appearing in the fourth case, which chronologically takes place before Case 1. Plus I made sure that he at least makes a "cameo appearance" in Case 1.

Actually, that is incorrect. The real "Snap" sfx is "sfx-fwasshing.wav", with two S's. You'll probably want to change this in your next revision.

Eh, probably what I'll do. I've got too much work to do on the case itself to have custom sprites for all of the numerous characters, when the PW sprites are readily available. But I do have certain characters that will require some customization.

Wow, I tested aaaall sfx-s, and I didn't find one completely fitting. I guess I didn't see that one. I'll check it now, and add it to Revision 1 along with the blinking issues fixes. Thanks!

Bad News: Sorry to tell you this so soon after your first revision, but I just noticed a glitch right after Karma blinks on his snap animation, due to an error on line 568.
