anyways what I'm looking for is video from the game without the text on the screen.

much like the footage people use on youtube.com to make funny music videos or add different audio to.

although now looking at it...perhaps they just took the avatars and photo shopped them ja?

Crap i'm sure I answered my own question.

They put each frame the sprites on the backgrounds, saved them, and edited them together with WMM or something similar.
