Sorry, I just ended up hating that theme when I was playing through JFA, not particularly sure why. I remember hating it with a vengeance after the 2nd case of JFA, when it was overplayed slightly. Didn't help that my cousin kept on playing the Gyakuten Saiban Soundtrack, and that particular song. I hate my cousin...

EDIT: Really, I thought the courtroom music was quite a good choice...

Aha...

And yeah, I found something from the Soul Calibur II soundtrack that I think sounds plain epic as a courtroom theme.

That will be a genuinly epic courtroom theme. It sort of reminds me of Miles Edgeworth's great revival theme, probably because it's such a majestic styled theme. Now looking forward to the next release even more now, due to this excellent find, to be used as the courtroom theme. Good luck with the next release Cardiovore!!! :phoenix:

You're incredibly busy, and yet you think you can have it out in a month or two? Amazing! Good luck with that.

I'll write my review of the case later, but you know my more general thoughts from MSN.

Yeah there's really no need, but only if you insist. :garyuu:

And don't be surprised if I don't meet that "deadline"... I tend to guess these things a tad early.

Just to say, if you're ever needing some music for the game, I can help you. I can usually find quite unknown things, and I have nothing else better to doo. (School exams have ended, so our teachers are giving us a break with homework and crap). Just sayin... :hotti:

Actually, on a side note about the game. Something quite bad has happened. I've gotten to the bit where you're meant to go down the gorge at verglas bridge, and all my options have gone away from the screen. I can't move, examine and even check the court record. And even worse, being the idiot that I am, saved, closed Pywright and opened it again to see if that would work...it didn't, and now I'm stuck there. Is there any possible way out of this without restarting the game, because despite the game being incredibly awesome, 3 1/2 hours replaying what I've just played will annoy me quite a bit. :Kristoph-hair:

When these options disappear are you in Verglas Gorge, Verglas Bridge, or Nieville?
And what exactly happened before the options disappeared?

I'm at the bridge, unable to do anything. Og, and I clicked in the middle of the screen...That's it.

Oh, and go to Nieville. It's there.

Hi folks, long time no speak.
As always, progress is slow but sure. A burst of progress here and there between periods of Writer's-Block and personal life issues.

Well anyways a bit of good news: I'm nearing the end of testimony 5 out of 7...
Spoiler: Big spoiler
...the testimony that the imposter will reveal himself at the end of.

Which means... I'm not far from the end now. :garyuu:

Post subject:  Re: PW: Turnabout Scapegoat (now taking voice auditions)

Made a new and - I think - improved alternative case art.
Spoiler:
Image

I plan on making alternate case arts like this for my other 3 cases too.
The default case art will still be the Phoenix one, but they can be replaced with the alternates if you so desire.

As always, progress with the conclusion is coming along in a mix of long and short bursts. One or two more testimonies to go before the finale.

EDIT: And I think I'll bring the voice auditions to a close. Not enough people have volunteered so looks like I'll be sticking with the voices I have. Thanks to Supersonic808 for his attempt at Vulper though. :phoenix:

To be honest I think most of the existing voices match the characters really well. It's just Vinnie with Edgey's voice that bothers me.
And thanks!

I'm not sure if I can do a Vinnie voice but I can try if you wish. I have dabbled in VA'ing (aka I've never VA'd for anything but can do many voices).

You can certainly try.
I want it to sound monotonous but forceful. Neutral accent. "Objection", "Hold it" and "Take that".
Good luck :)

Monotonous and neutral accent? A challenge, but I accept.

Vinnie's pretty boring... but that's intentional. He's supposed to be the overly-calm, emotionless defense attorney.

I'd try for Vinnie if my microphone didn't bloody suck, although I might buy a new one with the money I have left after buying Red Dead Redemption.

Hwy, sorry about not re-auditioning for Vulper, I had bad throat problems and a pretty hectic life for a while. I however WILL re-record tomorrow morning, if I can still send it in, let me know. If not... well there's always that fangame I may or may not be working on right now.

Very near the end actually. Tap's almost completed the PNG conversions of the characters. I have a few more scripts to do, then I'll go back and improve snippets of dialogue here and there. Should be ready in a month or two at the latest. :garyuu:
