This sounds very interesting. Unfortunately, I am too busy to help out but I wish you luck. Your plot sounds very interesting, especially with how you are making him a Barrister. The game has potential as it is unique, so good luck to you :)

Cool. This whole "barrister" concept is so different and I've never heard of that kind of system before.

It's also used in Australia but then our system is based on the British one.

So the barrister system is... where a person can be both a defense and a prosecutor?

And solicitors are the guys handling the legal documents?

Ah, I see. Time to combine these pieces of logic! *cool effect thingy*

It would make sense if the game had a barrister and a solicitor as partners. :minuki:

(This information is based on the Australian Legal System so the UK's system is probably different.)

Yeah, once you complete a degree in Law, you can apply to the BAR or work as a solicitor. Once you become a certified barrister, you can go even further and apply to work with the Department of Public Prosecution and eventually become a Crown Prosecutor so you can prosecute in the higher courts.

...or something like that. I haven't studied Australian Law in a while since it is very boring.

The only time law isn't boring is when it's about lawyers with spiky hair slamming on desks.

And yes the game is based on a solicitor and barrister as partners, if they weren't partner the barrister wouldn't have a job :sadshoe:

Yeah, you pretty much hit it right on the head there. However, the chance of an interesting case in Australia is next to nil.

I'd do it myself if I wasn't in a similar position as you :meekins:

I'm going to finish up on some basic sprites i'm making for someone else (very good experience BTW) and then i'm going to work on some sprites and then the actual script
