--Story--

Life is average for one Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. He's just come off a stream of cases after the Hazakura incident but things have been quiet the last two weeks. When trouble arises at the famous Gatewater hotel right across the street from Wright's office, he agrees to defend the accused a man from both his and Maya's past, one Gerant Porter, who they once knew as a Bellboy.

Phoenix begins to investigate the case, but it quickly becomes apparent that everything is not what it seems, everyone looks like they have something to hide, even the victim. He's in for a heavy trial, and the outcome will affect everyone around him, including those closest to him.

--Characters--

Canon Characters wrote:
Image - Phoenix Wright

Phoenix is generally easy-going, which usually leads to his friends leading him around. He's dedicated to defending his innocent clients, but because he's just starting out he depends a lot on his boss and mentor, Mia Fey. Phoenix is also a loyal friend who won't back down once he's set his mind on something. He has a bit of a sarcastic side that he usually keeps to himself.

Image - Maya Fey

Maya is optimistic, excitable, friendly, curious, and a fangirl for all things Steel Samurai. Like her sister she is tenacious to a fault, and very attached to "Nick" (her and her sister's name for Phoenix). Not always the brightest but loyal and outgoing.

Image - Dick Gumshoe

Gumshoe takes great pride in his work, and also in his "strong bond of trust" with the prosecutor's office. He's usually cheerful, is hardworking, and eager to please. But he also takes his job seriously, which causes conflict when he wants to help both sides of the case. Can sometimes be easily discouraged.

Image

Miles Edgeworth began his career as a prosecutor at the young age of 20, and in the four years since has maintained a perfect record of guilty verdicts. Seen as a snob, his condescending nature and relentless prosecution (along with rumors of evidence and witness tampering) have earned him the name "Demon Prosecutor." He despises criminal behavior, and will do anything to get lawbreakers behind bars. And look stylish doing it.

While his prosecuting career has started as such. He has since learned that the truth is more important than wins and losses. Still, he is a sharp and unrelenting opponent in the courtroom, and his refined manners and professionalism has earned him many fans.

[NO PICTURE YET] - Gerant "Bellboy" Porter (Defendant)

Young yet professional, Gerant (pronounced Grant) is honest and straightforward, willing to do anything for the reputation of his hotel. His family having worked in the Gatewater for four generations, he has high standing, and has since led to his leading the entire empire. He is now manager of the Gatewater and Gatewater Imperal Hotels (preferring to spend more time in the former), CEO of the Gatewater Corporation, and owner and founder of the Frost Casino in Las Vegas. He does all this while occasinally venturing to Gatewater Land to pick up a Badger Suit and go around the park for some time off.

Custom Characters wrote:
[NO PICTURE YET] - Benedict Wench (Victim)

The head concierge at the Gatewater Hotel, Benedict was commonly described as a man who was "at peace". With himself. Jolly and ever patient, there was not one person in the hotel who didn't like him... or so it seemed.

[NO PICTURE YET] - Doc Ternal

The night manager at the Gatewater Hotel had very few duties, as Gerant took on most of the managerial duties all day and all not, sleeping only in the very late and very slow periods of the day. Doc is a bit of a lazy lacadasical man, who loves his cushy job and doesn't want anyone intruding on his quiet lifestyle.

[NO PICTURE YET] - Janet Orian

Janet is a high-strung jumpy, paranoid maid. She's worked at the Gatewater for ten years and seems to know it's ins and outs. Always seeming to have the jitters, Janet is extremely tense and will jump at the slightest provocation, this has led to some embarrassing and occasionally painful interactions.

[NO PICTURE YER] - Ed Proigald

Ed is among the newer employees at the Gatewater, working as a desk clerk. No one knows too much about him because of the length of his employment but he seems to be fairly easygoing. Generally smooth-talking and complimentary, he's been known to lash out when confronted.

Serve the Story - that's one of my rules.

That wasn't an objection, honest! I was just pointing someone to the bus stop!

Like it says, after the Hazakura incident (3-5/Bridge to the Turnabout) but clearly before his disbarment. If you must know the specific date, April 20th-22nd.

I don't at all see how that's important.

It's important if you want to fill this into the cannon storyline, universe and time-span.

Ah, I understand, if you'd read the post you'd see I'd already fit it in to the storyline, and was more curious as to why the specific date was of the utmost importance to be known by the public in this early stage of development.
