About a week ago, just before Nyhm got computer problems, Nyhm and I had an argument over our other trial series, Final Truth. We figured that since we couldn't agree on anything, we should just put a short stop on the production of it. In it's place, we decided to work on a little 5 case series called Rob Lakota, based on our friends in real life (Me=Rob Lakota, Nyhm=Tim Pennington, etc.) It started out as a little joke, with nothing serious in mind. We could never come up with a real plot. Then, we just started coming up with ideas, such as my original Turnabout Asylum, which went abandoned, and our original entry to the screw canon competition, Turnabout Classroom. We just abandoned those plots because there was nothing driving us to finish them. Then, everything changed with our newer entry to the screw canon comp, The Rose has Thorns, AKA that one with Pearl as the defense. After we made the intro, we had a few ideas, such as dahlia being involved in a case in the past. However, after the terrible review, Nyhm didn't want to finish PF:AA. There went another idea into the trash pit. Then came our argument about Final Truth. We decided to take a break from it. So, to pass the time, we jokingly made comments about Rob Lakota. Without our knowledge, we opened up the realm of the unused ideas and all of our ideas came pouring out. Eventually, we made a very decent storyline that we both agreed to make a game off of. Thus, Rob Lakota: Reborn Attorney.
