Spoiler: Reasoning and Explanations
About a week ago, just before Nyhm got computer problems, Nyhm and I had an argument over our other trial series, Final Truth. We figured that since we couldn't agree on anything, we should just put a short stop on the production of it. In it's place, we decided to work on a little 5 case series called Rob Lakota, based on our friends in real life (Me=Rob Lakota, Nyhm=Tim Pennington, etc.) It started out as a little joke, with nothing serious in mind. We could never come up with a real plot. Then, we just started coming up with ideas, such as my original Turnabout Asylum, which went abandoned, and our original entry to the screw canon competition, Turnabout Classroom. We just abandoned those plots because there was nothing driving us to finish them. Then, everything changed with our newer entry to the screw canon comp, The Rose has Thorns, AKA that one with Pearl as the defense. After we made the intro, we had a few ideas, such as dahlia being involved in a case in the past. However, after the terrible review, Nyhm didn't want to finish PF:AA. There went another idea into the trash pit. Then came our argument about Final Truth. We decided to take a break from it. So, to pass the time, we jokingly made comments about Rob Lakota. Without our knowledge, we opened up the realm of the unused ideas and all of our ideas came pouring out. Eventually, we made a very decent storyline that we both agreed to make a game off of. Thus, Rob Lakota: Reborn Attorney.

Characters to Know

Spoiler: Rob Lakota
The main character of this game. Often, his inner thoughts are sarcastic. Can makes bad choices sometimes, but his deduction skills are very good. Is often very nervous, and sometimes during investigations he stops altogether, and relies on his two assistants as ears and eyes.

Spoiler: Tim Pennington
Main prosecutor of cases 2-4. Is very passionate about everything he does. Sometimes forgets things. Seems to have a very strong grudge against Rob, avoiding talking directly to him if at all possible.

Spoiler: Jake and Jane Lakota
Rob's adopted children. The defendants of the first case. In cases 1-2, they're Rob's assistants, helping him in investigations and in court. They were parent-less until Rob took them in.

Spoiler: Lagore Priest
"The Holy Soldier" as he calls himself, is a very respected defense attorney, and the defendant of case 2. Whenever possible, he makes war-related metaphors, and often talks about his father and how great he was, and even how he "died in the heat of battle." Becomes Rob's secondary (or trinterary) assistant in case 3.

Spoiler: Brighton Monoose
The main detective in this game. As his first name implies, his carefree demeanor and overall cheeriness is enough to put a smile on anyone's face.

Spoiler: Mathew Coffin
The judge for all of the cases in this game. Is carefree and gets along with Brighton quite well. However, is prone to arguing over trivial matters.

Cases

Spoiler: Case 1: Turnabout Classroom
Rob slowly opens his eyes, and finds that he is in a hopsital. He tries to remember, but he has amnesia. He looks around, and sees two little kids, with a police officer right beside them. They explain that they need help. Rob, not knowing anything about himself, asks if he is a lawyer. The boy holds out his hand and shows Rob an Attorney's Badge. The sight of the badge makes something click inside his head. He remembers something about a courtroom. He believes that he is a lawyer, so he takes the case of the to children, who were accused of killing a teacher at their school. Is there more than meets the eyes in this puzzling case?
