So, I've been toying with the idea about making something like this for a while now.

I have yet to get in contact with the makers of Turnabout Storm to ask them if they would be open to this idea, but I think I'd like to spearhead a PyWright game based on Turnabout Storm, of course if no one has already been working on such a project.

In case you guys don't know what Turnabout Storm is, you can read about it here.

The basis of the game would be as close to the setting/plot of Turnabout storm as possible, along with the extra elements necessary to turn it into a full game (such as extra evidence, etc. etc.)

So, if this were something I was able to contact the makers about, would anyone be interested in helping?

Just a little note: In regards to the thread (and supposed "project" of the same name), this project of mine will be usurping it. I plan to put together a full-fledged team, as well as getting the permission from the creators of Turnabout Storm (something the project linked there never did and likely never planned to do). The poster linked there made several outrageous claims (such as a release in 8 days), and said they'd release information about the game daily. It's been 3 months (90 days) since the thread was created and the OP was only edited a total of 5 times. Thus, I will be taking the project from them.

That would be unfortunate... but perhaps this would be a way for his series to get the treatment it deserved? I thought the series so far was very well-done, actually.

Some people were commenting on the videos saying "Thanks to all the haters for getting this cancelled."
But recently the uploader responded to a comment that was complaining about how long the next part would take. She said that all her releases are within a 7 month timeframe so I'm guessing the rumors of cancellation were greatly exaggerated.

As the creator of said series let me dispel a few misconceptions.

I didn't cancel the series I canceled the sequel to it which was going to be a whole other episode/case. My decision wasn't because I was receiving criticism about the voices, I've been getting those since day 1 of uploading the series, and really I took them all with a grain of salt because so many people were enjoying the series. What conceived my choice to cancel the sequel was the voice actress for Apple Bloom who is a nine year old girl saw some very harsh comments towards the job she did in part 2 of the series and got really discouraged and didn't want to do the voice anymore. It cut me pretty deep and it discouraged me, someone who was helping me got hurt at unlike me gained nothing out of the series. Other negative comments started to hold more weight for me and everything just seemed less fun.

The girl did come back though, after somehow a fan got her youtube even though I tried to keep her identity private (being only nine years old) and started posting positive feedback there. Plenty other fans followed suit and she contacted me asking if she could still voice Apple Bloom. Still none less I don't think I can do the sequel, not that I don't want to, I'd love to. I just don't think I can handle the pressure and stress a second time around. I don't want to make unrealistic expectations for a series only to ragequit in the middle of it like Alvin Earthworm. I AM finishing Turnabout Storm. While it may seem like it's taking a long time, I'm just wrapped up in things. All the graphics, voices, and the likes are done, it's a just a matter of me buckling down and doing over an hour worth of mixing and editting and flash work, ect, ect. So again Turnabout Storm WILL be finished and concluded. It's the sequel, the next case I canceled.

It's really disgusting to hear what you and the crew have been going through, especially to an (maybe not so much anymore) innocent 9 year old girl. It's good to hear that you plan on finishing Storm, and I find it reasonable that you'd be put off from doing a sequel. I know I would since I hate dealing with self-entitled pricks. Well, as mentioned earlier, thanks for taking the time to clarify the controversy surrounding your project. I hope that, however unlikely, people become more open-minded about things.
