Note: This game will most likely be developed in PyWright, though it may change once another program that would suit this game's gameplay better pops up.
What's this all about?
Unlike what you would've thought it was, this fan game is not a sequel nor a prequel to GS4. It takes place in a different reality, but it was essentially in the same universe. This story happens 8 years after GS2, just like the current Apollo Justice game. However, the events in GS3 never transpired. This game branches off of the last case of Justice For All, where Phoenix fails to prove Matt Engarde guilty. It was shown that he went to someplace else, but the story never picked up from there. But what if it did?
If Trials and Tribulations never happened, then a lot of things would have been different, e.g.: • Adrian Andrews, announced guilty. • Phoenix not meeting any of the characters introduced in TT. • Godot not meeting Misty Fey (Maya would've probably been too emo to go to the mountains). • Phoenix not adopting Trucy. • Phoenix not meeting Klavier. • Kristoph not killing Shady Smith. • Etc.
I couldn't exactly make a fan case/game right after Apollo Justice, cause GS5 might contradict with the things I proposed. And I'm sure it will, somehow. Plus I'm a sucker for canonicity, so to keep things as "canon as possible", I decided to put this game in a different dimension, so Capcom can't exactly establish this one as non-canon, ahaha.
Plot
Like I said, this game branches off of JFA's bad ending. The main gist of the story is simply put, what happened to everyone? The game will star Apollo Justice as the lawyer, completely fresh off the bat. With murder as his first case... well, how does he cope up with that?
Main/Recurring Characters
Apollo Justice - A lawyer of great naivety, he is a defense attorney determined to find the truth - but exactly for what reason?
Kristoph Gavin - Legendary defense attorney, and Apollo's mentor. He acts as Justice's guide in his undertaking as a lawyer.
Penny Nichols - Aspiring actor, and Apollo's friend... and understudy! With Trucy out of the way, Penny is the new sidekick of Justice.
Phoenix Wright - A fallen god of defense attorneys, Phoenix Wright is currently missing.
Godot - A mysterious prosecutor, and apparently Apollo's rival.
Klavier Gavin - Kristoph's little prosecuting brother. Another one of Apollo's rivals.
Previews/Information
Case 1: Beginning of the Turnabout
Penny Nichols, a simple and humble employee from Global Studios... accused of murder!? How totally uncliche and plot twisting! Will Justice be able to turn the case around?
Note: I didn't make it. I just found in the internet and thought it was great.
• Gyakuten Kenji's angled sprites (lawyers' courtroom sprites) when outside of court, but not all the time. The feature will only take effect when a character is talking to another character in the room besides you. Example: *Does not actually represent game footage • Phoenix Wright is playable! As to when he will be, I won't say 'cause it's a spoiler. Ahaha. • Room view rotation, just like the one from the second trailer of Gyakuten Saiban 5. Though I'm not really sure if I can implement that... • Voice acting for some cut scenes! • Abilities! (Magatama, Bracelet, Logic)

I will need help from you guys! Of course this is something I can't do alone. I would need voice actors, artists, and a plot! If you want to offer your help, please tell me, and I'm sure you'll be put to good use.
Voice Acting Auditions
Format Name to be credited (yours): Character: Link (Preferrably a Youtube audition):
Simple as crud! Hurray! And I'm so very sorry being unprofessional at this; this is my first time making a fan case, let alone a fan game.
Auditionable Characters (so far)
Apollo Justice -Voice actor's voice must be distinguishable whenever Apollo is Calm, Nervous, Normal, Serious and Confident. -Preferrably male, not so high-pitched, not too low either. Reference: his Objection! sound clip. -Lines: "Objection! Your Honor, this evidence clearly shows the contradiction in the witness' statement!" "(Urk... I must be losing my mind...)" "Yes, I'm claiming it, and I'm claiming it loud! Sheena Isalier... is a liar!"
Kristoph Gavin -Voice actor must sound professional and mature. -Male, obviously. Reference: Objection! clip. -Lines: "Apollo, if possible... please... refrain from embarrassing me." "A test of wits, a silent clash of passion. Only the cards, their backs wreathed in blue flame, know its final outcome." "Et tu, Justice? You would betray me, your teacher?"
Penny Nichols -Since Penny Nichols never had a voice clip from any of the AA games, please do surprise me. And please. I would definitely prefer a woman for the audition. -Lines: "Is that...? No... It can't be...! That's the last card I need to complete my set of Pink Princess: Collector's Edition!" "Yeah! That's why I'm studying under you, Mr. Justice!" "No... that's not true..." "There were rumors going around Worldwide Studios about Echo's... scandal."
Phoenix Wright -Voice actor must sound mature, but must have the ability to sound somewhat like Apollo. Childish, whatnot. -Male. -Lines: "Success isn't about how much you have achieved... it's about how high you bounce back when you hit bottom." "W-Wha--? That's impossible!" "Objection!" "Hold it!" "Take That!"
Artists
I need people who can draw various characters in the angle from Investigations. Please. I will love you so very dearly. I'm doing Kristoph's though I'm not done yet. Please contact me in any way you want, ahaha.
And you!
If you have ideas for the story, please feel free to post below! If you want to criticize, it's okay, but please don't be too harsh! If you feel like you need to give me tips, then I would gladly take them. Thank you very much!

Hm... An interesting concept -- an interesting concept, indeed.
Some things: *Wait... I didn't know Klavier was the one who killed Zak! :o It all makes sense now! (Look under "differences from the original games" XD) *While these are all interesting features - I would suggest not basing your story around them. Make it something that "if you have the time and the resources, you do". Because sadly, these days, it's very hard to find artists to give you sprites (ESPECIALLY AAI-styled ones, I'm afraid). For now - I would suggest writing out your story and then, when the time comes for those features, decide whether or not to actually use them (bringing up the AAI-styled sprites - they really aren't that necessary, in the end, I'd say - people will be more interested in the story rather than the fact they can see two characters on the screen). Same would go for voice actors - again, great idea - but perhaps a bit too demanding. Maybe once the first case is out, you people will get the general idea of the nature of this project and what you can do as a writer and will start to come around. After all - nobody really wants to invest time in something that has the potential of being bad, right? *So yeah - for now, focus on writing a really solid script. First, line out your story and then write down the dialogue in something like Word of Celtx. It's really recommended if it's your first time doing this - you'll get a general idea of the length of your dialogue, you'll be able to get someone to proof-read it, see if it's rushed or not, has holes, or just generally anything of the sort. If you go and ad-lib it in PyWright right away - trust me, it's very hard to do (Cardiavore managed to pull it off spectacularly for TScapegoat, as I hear, though) and it really can end up being a problem while writing - because you can't determine the length of the dialogue and it has the potential of seeming to be rushed.
I wish you the best of luck with your project!
That one guy from AAO that made about a dozen cases that all kinda go off the deep end and fall apart at one point or another.
Thanks, I did get the impression that I was a bit too demanding. Ahah, I apologize. And like what a detective once said, "All in due time, pal!"
And thanks for the Klavier correction! I was kinda rushing the post. I guess I'll think of the story first, then once it's settled, I'll proceed to write the dialogues while scripting. I'll need to know whether or not it will fit the dialogue box, and if it would look okay. So yeah, overall, thanks for the advise! I'm going to have to tackle this thing slowly, ahaha.
