Hello! How are you ?
I've been wanting to make this post for a long time :D. I'm working on a fan game! I wanted to start off small like doing a short case, but somehow the idea grew, and now I have 4 cases on my hand >.<.
I just want to say a quick thank you to all of those awesome people who made fangames like CoC, CoI, TaJ, and so many more. I enjoy all the fan cases so much!! You are all the main source of inspiration that keep me going on for this project and for that, I thank-you very very very much!
Here goes!

Phoenix Wright: Vindication of Justice

(Sorry, I drew Phoenix and Maya weird. I swear, pw art style is hard to do haha.)
Planning: 99.99% (I planned out the story and cases^^!)
Scripting: 70 pages written so far
Spriting: 9%I finished the character designs, Edit: May/15.
Music: 90%
Coding: …nothing yet, I'm really struggling with the codes >.<
(I would like to code invest1/trial1 to see how it's like but it's so difficult LOL coding is very confusing to me >.<)
Defense: Phoenix Wright
Prosecutor: Pierce Gunter
Detective: Cathia Flames

Cameo: Angel Starr, Will Powers, Larry Butz (Sorry, I can't give anymore away haha.)


The overall plot: I can't give much away, but the overall plot is basically Phoenix is caught in between a drug syndicate. They might look like a regular group, but they have very important medical secrets. The new prosecutor and detective will be involved in the case as well. They have been investigating the syndicate for a while.

So yes, I'm currently trying to code the game using pywright. I am doing this by myself so far, and it has been really hard especially with college/work. I appreciate any help. Yes!! I really need help haha. Of course, I will credit anyone who offers a hand in this^^!! You will receive full credit on what you did! (I think I need a team or any helping hand will be so great!)





Script:
I just need one or two people to read my script and be dead honest with me. Is it bad? Maybe some contradictions here and there? What can I do to improve? stuffs like that . I haven't gotten very far with scripting as you can see. Only 70 pages for the first case and 20 for the second (the script is very detailed out which explains the length haha). If anyone wants to proofread my script, I can send you invest 1/trial1 of case 1^^! Of course, I will send more after I am done with them.

I can always take another person's help with proofreading and critiques!

Coding:
I need so much help with this. I tried taking some fan games apart and messing with it. I can sorta code small parts, but an entire game hmm.. I need someone to guide me through the process, like gives me instructions on what to do or something like that (I am aware of directions on Saluk's website, but I'm very computerly challenged and yeaa.. LOL) I sure do need some serious help with coding haha !

So I hope that this fan game will interest someone. I love Ace Attorney series a lot and I really really want to make a fun fangame! I will do my best to bring it to completion and make it an enjoyable one! Thank-you so much for reading this post^^!!

70? Mine only has like 45. But mine isn't that widescale. So long you have much information about the game. Maybe you should hide some of it and reorganize it. Good luck.

Ahh I think it's because my script is detailed out (Like I put evidence info as I go on). LOL I'm sorry, but what do you mean by hide and reorganize it? And Thank-you :D I will be needing it x)

If you want somebody to proofread your script, then you could send it to me.

WARNING: I'm likely to miss any Out of Character stuff unless it is glaringly obvious. So if you want to know if your portray of some characters (specially the main ones) is accurate, you may want to pass it to another user)

But yeah, I'm willing to read and search for any loopholes your script may have.

I'm not sure if I should post this over at the sprite thread. But I'm having this issue with the sprites. It's like the sprite glitches and floats up and down. How can I fix this? I've been looking for a solution but no matter what I do I can't get the sprites to stay still. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Please help :(!

I think it is something wrong with the PNGs sheets. Maybe you got every frame unaligned.

Is there a trick to align the frame correctly?

Put each frame into a 256x192 box (the same size as the backgrounds). The character should be in that box where you want them to appear on the screen.
