So theres a 3DS app called smilebasic which allows the player to make games using the coding language BASIC.

So i made a lil ace attorney engine im still working on.

Now note i don't know if i could show the public key (which is how you download projects) as there is copyright stuff, so if it gets taken down ill be putting different sprites for the game.

So i only have speech and a 2 options menu and a WIP cross examination, so if i don't work on this project we will at least have a visual novel maker heh.

So this means fan games on the 3ds! :-D :phoenix:

While that sounds fine and dandy, there's a small problem.

How will you play them?
yes

Well SmileBASIC can run projects,

all i have to do is change the sprites that are ace attorney sprites,

and then publish it. So then it would make a public key.

Then you would need SmileBASIC, (i know it sucks to have to buy it.) then goto to the Publish/Download Projects, then goto download projects using public key, then type in the code, once its finished downloading goto explore projects, and then goto ATTORNEYENGINE.

Are you sure the BASIC language is a good language for PW fangames? I know nothing of this SmileBASIC, but the BASIC language in general is kind of a low level, beginner's programming language. Everything is simpler, which has its benefits and drawbacks.

Granted, it's much easier than pywright (though they both use the GOTO command! Fun little fact!) but I'm just not entirely sure BASIC is a good language, unless its Visual Basic. Then we're talking about a good Phoenix Wright fangame language.

Don't get me wrong, though. I'd love to see this type of thing happen, it's just that I'm not 100% sure about this whole SmileBASIC thing.

So would people be able to make 3d custom character sprites like on DGS and Dual Destinies? :javado:

Well no, unless you used optical illusions to make it seem like it.
