I just was thinking for a while: Why not create a dossier about each casemaker, exposing their features?

So with what I knew (so if I missed something, be sure to comment) I created one.

Extra Note: I won't update the Dossier if the programmers don't contact me and/or I don't see the changes specified in a topic/wiki.

<UPDATE 4>

Excellent idea :D

a couple minor edits for CourtEngine:

Quote:
3D Support: Impossible (No Flash Support)
Supported 3D Formats: -

Real time 3D support is a no go, true, but:

Quote:
3D Support: Swift3D RavIX
Supported 3D Formats: SwiftSWF

i.. honestly am confused by the "creation model" part though, is that like the direct method in how you construct your scene?

also:

Quote:
Supported Image Formats: JPG, PNG, SWF
Supported Sound Formats: MP3
Features: Strong Animation Support, Powerful customization, easy-to-read/understand XML structure

Those three features are what im priding myself in right now :D

3D Support = Real 3D Support. Loading 3D models and such.

Creation Model = how you develop a game using the casemaker in question. If you use an editor, program directly, use some language, etc and if it is limited by the PW engine.

i see, i thought the "interface" covered that, but yeah the creation is "Hand Typed / Editor", if im still even getting the picture on that field lol, past that i dont think theres much you that needs to change about mine, pretty much covers it :)

Creation Interface is what you use, and Creation Model is how and the limitations with them.

I second that. This would go great with that post about other case makers not getting enough attention. now people can go over different case makers here, and make their pick.

I'll open a wiki (possibly on my site) and also a forum for pwlib/aige. The forum it set up, but closed now. So I can host wikis under http://ksatechnology.no-ip.biz too.

Since you have a 30KB/s upload limit as you stated, I think it'd be better for someone with a proper hosting service to do it...
Either that or use a free wiki provider, if anyone here knows of any good ones?

EDIT: Working on one as we speak.

Here we go.
http://casemakers.wiki-site.com/

I'm not that great at designing awesome pages, though.
I'll transfer to a paid, high quality host in a couple of weeks if it seems to be worth it.

:( i even got the latest offical MediaWiki software uplaoded to my site (the same software powering Wikipedia), i jsut need to have access to my PhpMyAdmin from home (my work connection blocks my CPanel) to create the database for it.

I have a screaming fast host too, but let me check out this new wiki site, having it off a site like this may be good for if the web host decides to have some random downtime lol

EDIT: Forget it! I actually liek the one on the free server, its stupid fast and works wonders!
Are the any limitations to it that we shoudl be aware of?
