Well, as you all know, we call AA1 case 1, 1-1, and AA4 case 3, 4-3. So what will we use for Gyakuten Kenji cases?

Do you mean Gyakuten Kenji? Cause both games have Gyakuten in them. Gyakuten Saiban, Gyakuten Kenji.

Maybe well change it up a bit: Add an "S" for Saiban in front of the Gyakuten Saiban cases (ex AA1 case 1 = S1-1) and a "K" for Kenji in front of Gyakuten Kenji cases (ex GK1 case 1 = K1-1). Just an idea, but seems convenient to me.

But who says there will be more Kenji games?

By the way, can a mod move this to the Prosecutor's Lobby?

I'd go for K1-1, etc.

"Kenji" and "King of Prosecutors" both relate to Edgeworth rather well.

Yeah, will end up being either GK-1, GK-2, etc. or possibly even just 5-1, 5-2.

But then would we call the first case of GS5 6-1 when it comes out? The easiest way is probably just K1, K2, K3, etc. At this point we don't need a 1- or even a -, we'd be able to recognize K as Gyakuten Kenji, not just GK.

Because that's the shortened case name.

I agree with Bad Player on this. If there's a second game in the series, common sense prevails and we might as well add the hyphen. =)

Yep, but until then, we don't really need one.

The hyphen is just used to separate the number indicating the game from the number indicating the case. Since there would only be one game, we wouldn't need to say "1" signifying the first game, and we don't need a hyphen splitting the K (or GK or whatever) from the letter since it's clear the K refers to Kenji and the number to the case number.

My brother told me one of the cases was called "Turnabout Airlines". I think they're keeping the case name tradition.

Regardless what you guys decide, I'm sticking with GK1-1, GK1-2 etc until I hear confirmation that GK2 isn't happening. And even then,

We're talking about how to identify the cases in shorthand, such as "JFA-1" or "GS2-1" etc.

I am going to call them Booble1 and Booble2 kthnx~

Interesting..it sounds like a case number classification..

Reminds me of the time the Turnabout Serenade page was called Turnabout Booble. XD

I'd opting for calling it K1-1, K1-2 kind of thing. Parce que je suis parasseuse.

We can refer to them by the K shorthand, but I assume that if it gets a sequel, we'll have to change it.
K-1, K-2, K-3, etc.

Then when the English comes out:

PP-1, PP-2. PP-3 etc (assuming that it will be called "perfect prosecutor")
------------------------------------------------------------------------
If it gets a sequel, the first game cases will be:

K1-1, K1-2, K1-3 etc

and the second game cases will be:
K2-1, K2-2, K2-3 etc

And then of course the English versions:

P1-X, P2-X ,where X is the case #

Well, I thing we should use AA1, AA2, AA3, AA4, AA5, PP/AP1, PP/AP2, etc.
You know, AA1-1, AA2-2, AA3-3, AA4-4, AA5-5, PP/AP1-1, PP/AP2-2. It sounds like the easier way to me.

Lol, K1-1 sounds like DL-6 and SL-9.

I was thinking about this today, and I do like the idea of K1-1 for it. It keeps the tradition of number hyphen number, so it fits for me. :godot:
