I think it would be too cliche if she were the murderer, but in the screenshot she and Edgeworth discover the body together, so to have accused him she's either way too imaginative for her own good or she has something to do with it. Hm... Maybe the victim and Edgeworth have a pre-established relationship that could lead her to suspect him?

As far as it goes, the literal translation for her name is 'Very Thin' and 'Path/Road'. So a 'Very Thin Road'. Something to do with the path she goes on?

Anyway, as for the "like Adrian" thing, it's an interesting possibility. Wonder why she'd try to frame Edgeworth though? Another possibility could be that she misconstrues something she sees, or someone else plants something that she thinks incriminates Edgeworth.
Maybe it has something to do with the murder weapon (that little statuette in the elevator?), or Edgeworth was seen talking to (or dining with...) the victim before he died.

Maybe her name is like the phrase "between a rock and a hard place", like for example if she is the real murderer then if she slips up once she lose her balance and 'fall off' the 'thin road' that she's walking and be convicted. Or maybe it's like "Walk the straight and narrow" like she always does the right thing.

Anyway, she seems like an interesting character. Given her name, I'll bet she's something like a cross between Adrian Andrews and Oldbag - she judges things in a narrow-minded way (hence "a very thin road"), but things she has observed are the key to solving the case. Of course, that's just a first-glance guess, but it does look like it would fit her.

She's pretty cute, but those diamond studs are a bit too similar to Franzi. It makes you wonder if there's a connection there, even if it's a simple matter of buying clothes from the same store. Frankly, any form of explanation from the designers would be nice.

I think that they were just stating that they somewhat resembled each other. I wasn't serious when I said she was Franzie's and Lisa's daughter either.

I was sort of putting that out there as a joke, but for argument's sake, we can assume that Manny's first daughter is married because she has a family of her own. If she was married, her name wouldn't have to be Karuma (though it would seem out of character for any von Karma's to willingly change their name). Croik's right though: Given that she's introducing herself to Edgeworth, Ichiru probably isn't related to the von Karmas.
I agree with Orca on the meaning of her name. I think it implies that she's either narrow-minded, has a very strict goals, or the case has put her in the position where she has to tread carefully. She looks a bit weak-willed to me, also. Perhaps she's hiding behind a facade like Adrian was, which puts her in an awkward place. She strikes me as a oneshot character; I can't imagine her having much of a deep connection with any of the regulars or much significance beyond the case at hand.
BTW, am I the only one who sees Sal Manella in those screenshots?

I find it awfully suspicious that Mikumo's last name is Ichijou, and the flight attendant's name is Ichiru. They're very similar. (Yeah, I know. "But in Japanese, they're totally different." I can hear it now.)
