Though I would like to point out that the "court confrontation" you see does not take place during an actual trial, so it's not technically a court scene. They just happen to be standing behind the defense and prosecution benches >.>
Also I like little Fran's hair but her outfit kinda scares me. She looks too much like lolicon-bait. Plus it felt like she was doing even more whipping than usual, which has never endeared me to her, but it was cute seeing her an tiny Miles.
Seems pretty strange though that when Edgeworth and Gumshoe meet Kay for the first time in case 3 neither of them recognize her even though she gives her full name AND mentions Yatagarasu. Talk about poor memory...! You'd think a case this epic would leave a bigger impact!

Anyway, this was an awesome case. The trick was a bit simple but nice, and the whole picture of who did in whom and why didn't come together too early. It finally had the same unputdownable qualities the old games had. Awesome new characters - I really like detective "bad" and Himiko is a kickass baddie. Loli Mei was too cute, I wanted to pat her on the head all the time while she was getting angry. And it's a nice touch that she uses a riding crop instead of a bullwhip to go with the whole she's smaller now theme.
Seeing Udgey running around huffing and puffing was pretty funny, and "cross-examining" him was awesome. "Objection!" "Denied" "This isn't a trial! I deny your denial!!"
It really set up the mood for the showdown when they slowly walked to their positions as prosecution and defense in the courtroom (for no apparent reason other than to look cool
)
