I knew someone was gonna mention Phoenix, though his is at best questionable. I'm surprised you didn't mention Winston Payne's gray suit. But either way it takes two seconds to take a neckerchief off [is that what that thing is called?] so he actually dresses for court for the most part. I mean, hasn't anyone noticed AA tries to make its characters' attire entirely too loud for court?
Cute quote I said to my bf once when talking to him about Byrne: "...And they gave him THAT thing just because Ace Attorney cannot have attorneys that dress properly for court. And that's probably the only reason."

Me like. I swear, we should have seen more of Byrne in action in the courtroom. Though I'd rather that GS5 focuses on loose ends that need to be tied up like real soon, I wouldn't mind squeezing in another flashback case just to see Byrne.

XP Wouldn't really work, the defining part of the Yatagarasu investigation team is that they weren't successful in catching the Yatagarasu. It'd just be a game of covering up evidence.
I think if Byrne was to have a game it'd be a massive offshoot of the main genre giving us some kinda stealth action game.
Edit: More or less just stealth, this isn't some secret agent or spy trained in combat after all.

I used a Colias Palaeno sprite for a base, as for the head and the rest it was from scratch.

Also, apparently Byrne often pinned his prosecutor's badge on Kay. I need fanart of this! :O That could be incredibly cute. Kay also said something along the lines of how Byrne said that he himself couldn't be seen wearing the badge though, or else a "scary prosecutor" will yell at him XD

Byrne Faraday is just one of those characters in the series who left such an impact on me even though I barely saw him, mainly because I let my imagination run wild. I have actually written a few stories about him, and I do have a few more ideas in the works.

Still, it would explain Kay's obsession with ninjas. It might also explain where Byrne got the skills for infiltration. I mean, even with Little Thief, he couldn't have learned all that on his own.

Think about it. He invented Little Thief, a device that is massively complicated and far ahead of its time. Also, what if his target stored the information on a computer? He'd have to have the skills of a master hacker to get the data and leave no trace behind (yes, I know that was Badd's job as part of the Yatagarasu, but unless he's a computer genius too, I don't think he could get rid of that evidence).
Does make you wonder where he got all the parts to make Little Thief, though.

The Yatagarasu would never commit something as low as murder so I doubt he would have a wife who would go against his principles.
As for his device he could have ordered some of the parts online and have them imported.

I'll admit, I am basing this off of Kay's obsession with ninjas more than anything else, so it's not the best theory in the world. But I did say before that in my theory, Kay's mother didn't want her to follow the path of a ninja, so perhaps she and Byrne were able to make compromises. Love isn't exactly a perfect science, anyway.
