Something's been bugging me about the English trailer for some time. You know how they've translated some scenes in English? Well, surely it couldn't take them that long to translate the rest of the game, especially considering I'm certain more work is done than that. So, does anybody else take this as either an implication that...

A: AAI will be released earlier than expected
B: Gyakuten Kenji will be dual-language?

I'm just throwing possibilities out there: This can't mean nothing.

(Also, it takes a LOT more work and time than you seem to think to fully localize a game - and do it as well as the AA team has always done. It's not just a matter of translation.)

Winter 09 was confirmed for Europe. Will America see it before then? If we do I doubt it will be by much. Maybe a month or two, like with AJ.

Obviously the trailer needed to use some English scenes (being an English trailer) but there are also several screenshots still in Japanese. Whether that was due to the translation not being that far along or the trailer-maker being lazy is anyone's guess and shouldn't be used to speculate about the progress of the translation.

Also translation/localization takes a lot longer than everyone seems to think it does, so enough with the "they should be able to do it faster than that!" No offense but if you don't work in translation or game development you're not in a position to make claims like that.

And like Regy said there are already topics on the release date in the Court Docket and Trial Minutes. And a few in here too I think...?
