It's a bad name, but that's all it is. It won't affect the gameplay or plot at all, so I really don't care. (Although "Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor" would've been nice)

I personally like the name. I think it's more appropriate. After all, people who are new to the series are going to think "who's this gay man on the cover of the box?" even though Edgeworth isn't homosexual. In fact, I don't think he's interested in any relationship at all. The AAI name will make people new to the series think "This game looks fun, because I like detective dramas and stuff." It's also going to help people new to the series to notice it better.

That's why it's a great name. Clever thinking there Capcom.

Assuming that this IS the real title for a potential English-language release ... I like Ace Attorney Investigations, personally :hyde:

It doesn't really follow the same vein as the FirstName LastName: Ace Attorney: Optional Catchy Subtitle Here that we're used to, but the whole game itself is drastically different than the rest of the series, so a title that's refreshing~~like a spring breeze~~ly new seems like a good idea.

Lame pun, sorry.

But yeah, I think it's short, catchy and to-the-point, so it works for me. And I second the notion that "ME:PP" is kind of awkward, though I do still need to get my sense of humor past the second grade level.

But I'm not sure how disappointed Edgey would be that his name didn't get to be in the title of his own game : /

What I'm proving with this evidence is not whether 'Ace Attorney Investigations' is the final name or not. What I'm proving is that a game of the 'Ace Attorney' franchise requires a patent in the states, and there are only two 'Ace Attorney' games in development. Furthermore...
