Yeah, I don't know either.
Well, I can form only two hypotheses about this image, and that is that
a) it opens up the possibility of a SeaWorld-esque crime scene
b) Edgeworth just enjoys visiting the zoo in his spare time
I find A more likely. But so far, I haven't seen any other screenshots that might hint towards a case like that.
Maybe a drowning death of some sort? That would be an interesting change of pace; I don't remember a situation like that in any other Ace Attorney games.
Oh, by the way -- I can't read Japanese, so I'm not sure if the video has any captions explaining what's going on.

You know I always saw him as more of a cat person, but it's been suggested that he owns a large dog named Pess apparently so I guess I'm under the wrong impression.

Referring to the case, I heard that it could perhaps be part of a large case at an amusement park (with the Mirror Fun House and the concert area).
As for the dolphin, I have no idea what he could be doing to the dolphin except either interrogating it or petting it. Though, Edgeworth never seemed like the type of person to get his suit wet to touch some dolphin. Perhaps they're intellectually attracted.
Or he just has to tie his shoe.

That's where kusch is getting the information. The dog does not techincally exist in any form and I believe the Japanese fanon has labeled it that breed. However, I could be wrong and it is a Western fanon assumption.
