God. Lang has such a sexy theme. Must be the saxophone. Compared to Godot's, the latter's theme had some dark mysterious undertones that fit him. While Lang sounds both bad-ass and sexy in one go. :keiko:

When I first saw Lang, I was kinda annoyed. He seemed a bit stupid I guess, letting Shih-na do everything for him. But as more people have already said, he kinda grew on me. ^^ And omg, I love his theme soooo much. <3 It's definitely going to be my new ringtone.

@Icarus: About your first fic: it was way too dirty... but genius all the same. I really really laughed. About your second fic: once again genius, can't wait to read the next chap!

Yeah, I just totally agree to this. I really hated the moments when he turned up at the investigation and started to bother you...but after finishing the game I had to revise my opinion.
He turned out to be a really developed character, someone who stands to his mistakes that's really rare. I also felt a bit sorry for him, being betrayed by someone he had so much trust in...I guess the emotional damage he took was harder than the physically...

I tried to draw Lang x Miles x Phoenix last night.. it didn't work T.T Shi-nah refused to let Phoenix have anything to do with it... problem is, I don't know where I can post it where you can see it without having an account... Um yeah... Lang is in my top 5 now. He's up there fighting for top spot with Godot, Phoenix, Damon Gant and Miles (Yes- Miles wasn't on this list till AI XD He was a tad too emo in AA )

At first i didn't like him, but as the game went on i started to like him. Case 5 sealed the deal. He's a total badass who throws out quotes, like :godot: . You have to wonder what it would be like if Lang went toe to toe with Godot (i could just see him throwing a cup of coffee at Lang, and he catches it, takes a drink and says, "thanks i needed that).

I always thought his partents named him Shy-Long Lang, then he got it legaly changed to Shi-Long Lang.

He is based of a wolf (legend of some sort) and he has fangs, growls and throws quotes about sinking his teeth into people. Much like wolves do.

Actually, I think I sorta see what you mean, except it's the other way around. In what way is Rou Dragony at all? To me, he's all about the wolf. It's just his costume that has dragons on it (a very awesome costume it is too. Out ranks Furio completely for complexity, and it's harder to draw than Godot's mask XD

I just finished this game, and I'm so happy to see that Lang got a fan thread! :D I think he's probably the best new addition to the Ace Attorney series. I like how he had it out for you, but was always willing to hear you out if you had real proof. So he was a genuinely tough opponent who could actually be swayed... very cool! And I really liked how

Question: Has anyone found any good fanart/fic with this guy? People seem to like him well enough, and the PW kmeme is exploding with Lang related requests, but I seriously can't find hardly any fanworks with him. It's almost like everyone is too scared to write/draw him or something. o_O

Er, I think it's because he talks about wolves all the time, and thinks of his subordinates as his "pack"? Also, "Lang" means wolf in Chinese, and his design looks a lot like Wolverine. 8D

Here's an explanation for people who don't get his name:
His localized name is actually just the (Mandarin) Chinese reading of the Japanese kanji characters 狼士龙, which were already meant to sound super Chinese in the first place. (What with him being from "Zheng Fa" and all.) It's kind of a perfect, no-brainer localization, and none of the meaning gets lost because the characters mean the same in both languages.

Pronounce it as "Shir-Loan Lawn" and you will have my props for saying it better than 95% of non-Chinese speakers. ;p Better yet, say it with the family name first: Lang Shi-Long, pronounced "Lawn Shir-Loan"! That's how it's supposed to be said, plus it's not as awkward without the two L's together.
