Is that a stethoscope? Does this mean he's a doctor of some sort?

A very interesting find... It doesn't really look like one, but I can't think of what it would be. :payne:

As seen here, it's more like a keyholder, or something.

It looks a bit like one of those memory stick "necklaces" to me. It looks to be important either way though.

A lanyard with a USB stick? D; Because just looking at that zoom-out shot it doesn't seem very key-ish to me. More like a big black rectangle...thing.

I wondered that too, but then I saw that it goes all the way around the back of his neck, whereas stethoscopes sort of "hook" on the back of your neck, where the opening is.

Maybe it's one of those ID card necklaces or something like that? I'm not sure.
Thanks to .•°٭blinq٭°•. for the lovely sig. ♥

At first, I thought someone used it to cut off his oxygen, and then proceeded to smack him on the back of the head.

But this thing about a key-necklace or a USB drive sound more plausible.

Well, it's not a stethoscope, for it has one end instead of two.
Then, what is it?
According to the image Tinker posted, it holds something. It doesn't look like an ID card, since it's not a rectangle, it looks like an accesory more than a USB drive.

Hmm..... seems like I'm wrong. But you do make a good point, and this is still a quite interesting point. Can this be a clue to the victim's story? Or is it just a little detail? We'll find out soon enough.

If, by a USB drive you mean one of those things where you can plug it into a USB port and put files on it, then plug it into a USB port in a diff computer and the files show up (sorry I suck at technology), can I say one thing?

Possiblities possibilities possibilities! :-D What magical important files could this thing contain?

You make a interesting point when you say that it could contain important files, maybe it could be a plot point?

so, you guys are saying, like, that thing that he has could be a USB thingy and it could hold some important data on it? you have to think, maybe the murderer wanted to get a hold of it but couldn't get the chance? i dunno, just a thought... :yuusaku:

I like the idea of it containing some important files, but then you'd think the murderer would have removed it. Unless they switched it out for one of their own.

What do you guys think?

That would make sense, except I don't see why it would be... un-pushed, in a matter of speaking.
It's as if the killer strangled him with it, and didn't bother to take it with him, giving me the idea it wasn't a very important object. And the fact that he would leave this object around his neck could mean that 1: It really is just something the guy was wearing.
or 2: This object just happened to be picked up by the killer, and is some random wire from part of the plane.
It could be possible that it really is a weapon designed for strangling, but then what was the point of the "Blunt blows" on his head?

Erm...I have a question...why would he just be randomly wearing a yellow string around his neck?

Why wouldn't he?
From what we can see, it could still be a necklace.

Which could explain why the necklace is left behind. But I wonder why the killer didn't just take the whole thing?

I thought it was used to hang him...
But I guess not....
Though maybe it isn't even connected, like this
Image
(yes I know it's a bad drawing)
The one on the left is what everyone seems to think what it is, and the one on the right is what it might also be....
as in who says it's a necklace, maybe it's just a cord draped over his shoulders.

It's possible I guess, and a good idea, but I'm not sure how likely it is. I'm no physics expert, but can a cord hang like that? And why would it?

Didn't Phoenix say he was afraid of heights?

Poor Edgeworth. Everything has to go wrong before it goes right, huh?

phoenix apparently is afraid of heights, i'm not sure how accurate this is but, i heard that when phoenix went on a rollercoster with trucy, the whole time he was holding himself, and saying over and over, "objection objection objection..." poor nick! :gant:

It was actually a Ferris Wheel. ^_^;; But yeah, Phoenix is supposedly scared of heights, and Edgeworth is scared of elevators/earthquakes.

Edgeworth is always flying back and forth, so I figure that he's all right with flying. ^_^

Mia seems to be the only playable character without a fear of heights.

Although Phoenix and Edgeworth both did okay with Dusky Bridge, so maybe it's not too pronounced.

Or the writers forgot.
