I'm an incredibly manipulative little bastard when I want to be. Hell, I can't even stop myself from manipulating the game I'm GMing! I get this control freak habit from my parents.

INFPs are drawn to things that are unusual. INFPs are polite and enjoy making conversation. It can sometimes prove difficult for others to hold INFPs' attention during interaction. They can be extremely patient with complicated issues but may become impatient with routine and details.
INFPs strive for perfection. They may have trouble finishing a project, because they never find it is good enough. Even when the project must be finished they may feel the need to go back and improve on it later.
They have a hard time criticizing others but will try to motivate them by their appreciation and praise. INFPs find it easy to convince others and sway opinions because of their tactful and diplomatic way of speaking. When conflicts arise they avoid directly approaching the situation, and would rather wait for the others to work out the situation themselves.

In order to help INFPs feel good about themselves it is necessary to tell them verbally that you care about them. They need a great deal of positive affirmation and can become very self-conscious and insecure and lost without it.
In conflict, if pressured, INFPs may try to change the subject and escape. It is best to treat them very gently and lightly when discussing the subject at hand. Getting very angry or upset with an INFP will cause them great mental distress. When they feel very cornered, their usually sweet exterior rapidly changes and they begin to lash out verbally in frantic self-defense. Do not take this behaviour harshly, for this happens only under very rare circumstances and when the INFP really feels they have no other choice. If they feel they have shared their feelings in a kind and loving environment without being criticized for them, they will always feel content and calm.
