It can still make a difference, despite the intended audience.If we go by that same exact argument, then MegaMan will win the election as he's practically Capcom's Mascot. He has the most brand awareness of any of them. The contest is based upon our page with our reasons supporting our character. Thus, Megaman could easily fail if his fandom doesn't create a good argument for him.
Not quite the exact same argument. I said it can make a difference, not "popular characters automatically win".
The campaign reasoning matters quite a bit, too. And I think we can have both the recognizability AND good campaign reasoning in Phoenix if we work at it. Two birds with one stone, y'know.
