I've recently got into AA, about three months ago, when my friend showed me the series on their iPad. I got the games on my iPad too, though I haven't been able to play much

Umm... He's also an actor though... The character you're thinking of may be fictional but Samuel L. Jackson is also the name of an actor as well...
