We used to have an all 80s station in our market, but they have gradually transitioned to late seventies and now early and mid 90s music as well.

I really love most music from the eighties. When I was younger I would watch all the eighties music infomercials and wish I could afford to buy those collections. Now I could just download all those songs from the Internet.

Yahoo radio has decades stations, and I usually listen to 1980s Alternative when I choose to listen to the radio at home. It's free, but it has a lot of commercial interruption now that CBS has taken over. They had commercials before, but it wasn't as bad. I know you used to be able to pay for the service to avoid commercials and skip songs as much as you want, but now I'm not sure if that level of service is still available.

Anyway, listening to that station led me to discover many great artists and songs: Kate Bush (Running Up That Hill), Siouxsie and the Banshees (Cities in Dust), Peter Murphy (Cuts You Up - I think this actually came out in the nineties, but it sounds very late 80s), Men at Work (It's a Mistake), Flock of Seagulls (Photograph/Wishing), and Flesh for Lulu (Postcards from Paradise).
