DJ Morgoth takes songs and mashes them up together to create music. Many of the mixes are interesting takes on the source material used, but some of them leaves something to be desired.
http://www.djmorgoth.com/I discovered his site through this youtube video of Nirvana vs. Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give Your Teen Spirit Up
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NN75im_us4kSome of my favorite mixes so far are:
Summer Wine Feels Good in Berlin - Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazel Wood vs. Gorillaz feat. De La Soul vs. Martin Kesici
BlurDemmi - Blur vs. Deichkind
Welcome Home Mama - 2Pac vs. Coheed and Cambria
Somebody Catches The Saturate - The Chemical Brothers vs. Kosheen vs. The Killer
He even has a mash up of Disturb's version of Shout and the Jackson 5's ABC.
I'm not sure how much technical skill it takes to do something like this, but I thought the concept was worth sharing. If you know of anyone else that does this, please let me know so I can expand the the thread to include any other ones.
