Post subject: | Ghost Trick Mafia(Sign-ups open!) |
This might be in the wrong section, so feel free to move it if it is. For those of you who don't know, Mafia is game. It is NOT a roleplay. You commonly have two sides-the "Town" and the "Mafia". Each side is composed of a number of roles, which usually have special abilities, such as investigating a player to learn their innocence or guilt or killing a player. Each side seeks to eliminate or outnumber the other. Themed games have become popular-games that take normal Mafia and add a theme to it, with characters and mechanics related to said theme. That is what this will be-a Ghost Trick-themed version of Mafia. Now, I understand that all the rules and roles may make this game seem daunting, but trust me, it's easier than it looks, and you should catch on quickly. Also, I am more than willing to help anyone along the way. I'm hoping that Mafia will catch on and other people will host their own unique games. In this game, death is only the beginning... Let me start off by saying, that this game WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS for Ghost Trick, and it will overall be more enjoyable and make more sense if you've played and beaten the game. For those of you who don't know how the game works, let me lay out for you the order in which things will happen: -A sign-up period will be held and eventually end when the roster is full. If you want to un-sign up, you have to post this in the thread. You can't just delete your sign-up post. Also, please don't bother signing up if you will not be available to play. I do NOT want to replace anyone, because I feel that disrupts the game. -Roles will be given out via PM, all with special powers that will be explained in said PM. An explanation for all the roles will also be included further down in this post. -Day Phase will be announced and will last about a day or until the voting reaches majority. I will ultimately decide when it ends. During this period, all participants may post in this thread and talk amongst themselves. Try not to get too crazy. You can vote for who you want to kill or to go to sleep and move on to the Night Phase. Voting and talking are not mandatory, but are highly suggested. Players who don't really seem to participate at all are no fun to play with. Only one person can be killed during this phase. When a person is killed, they become a Ghost and will stay as such for two nights before dying for good and having their role revealed. In the case of a tie, Randomizer will decide what happens. Ghosts can post, but not any relevant information or anything that may influence the game. They cannot PM. The only ghosts that are exceptions to this are Sissel, Missile, Ray, and Yomiel. Most Ghosts cannot use their roles, but will count as part of their team until they die for good. -Night Phase will be announced. This may be extended on occasion, depending on the circumstances. During this period, special characters can PM me and use their powers, which will be elaborated on when I go into character roles. Actions cannot be taken back. -The Day Phase will begin again when the time comes. I will reveal who has been killed, but not who killed them. They will become a Ghost before dying for good after two nights have passed, and an updated player list will be posted. Their role will not be posted until that time, and actions can still be performed on them. It is possible to kill a Ghost immediately, by targeting them for a kill again. However, in the case that someone tries to kill a player while another tries to revive them, only one action will take effect. If the attempt to revive fails, the Ghost will be killed. If not, nothing will happen to them. If a person was chosen to be killed but was spared for some reason, I will not reveal this. -The game will continue until victory is reached for the Detectives, the Mafia, or Yomiel. How each character/group wins varies, so I will go more into this in the character roles. Ghost Trick Mafia is a little different from most Mafia games. First, the Mafia and Detectives share the goal of completely eliminating the other team and are even in number. Second, the Mafia does not permanently have the ability to kill at Night. Rather, they have two roles that have this ability. Third, Ghosts serve a purpose. When a living character is killed, they become a Ghost, usually dying for good two Nights later. Sissel, Ray, and Yomiel are permanently Ghosts, but they won't die for good just because time passes. The same applies to Missle, but like other Ghosts, he can be revived. A character's role will only be revealed when they have died for good. Ghosts-Ghosts are a big part of Ghost Trick. Unlike in most Mafia games, a character does not die for good immediately after being killed. Instead, they become a Ghost. Their role will not yet be revealed, and the can still post, but they cannot PM, post relevant information, vote, or use their abilities. While a Ghost, there is a chance of them being revived. In most cases, Ghosts will die for good two Nights after their death, at which point their role will finally be revealed. Most abilities will not work on them. There are three Ghosts in the game who are considered special and don't follow these guidelines. They are Sissel, Missile, Ray, and Yomiel. Sissel and Yomiel start the game as Ghosts and cannot be revived. Missile starts the game as a living being and can be revived. As Ghosts, they will not die due to time passing, can be affected by many abilities, can communicate as much as living players, and have special abilities they can use. |

Post subject: | Re: Ghost Trick Mafia(Sign-ups open!) |
Characters: Sissel(Detective)-Ghost Powers- "Trick Time!"-Every Night, Sissel may try and use his Ghost Tricks to revive a dead player. This is only possible while the character is a Ghost, and there is only a 40% chance of success. "Rewind Time"-Every other Night, Sissel may choose to watch the final moments of a dead player's life. In the case of lynch victims, he will learn who the last person to action on them was. In the case of Mafia victims, he will learn who the last person the player actioned on was and if applicable, the results of these actions. This is only possible when the character in question is a Ghost. "Phone Line"-Every other Night, Sissel may target a player and eavesdrop on their phone calls. All PMs sent to this person will be forwarded to him. This ability doesn't work on Ghosts. Win Conditions-Defeat the Mafia and convert Yomiel into one of the good guys. Notes- If Sissel and another player with Ghost Tricks try and save the same player, then the chance to save them increases. Since Yomiel cannot save anyone on his own, he can only help if he tries to use his "Trick Time!" ability on the same person as Sissel or Missile. Sissel, Ray, and Yomiel can't be revived or affected by Ghost Tricks, and unlike normal Ghosts, he will not die for good after a certain amount of time has passed. If Lynne dies for good, Sissel cannot act the following turn. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Lynne(Detective)-Human Powers- "Investigate"-Every Night, Lynne may choose to investigate a player. She is still a new detective however, so there is only a 50% chance of success. If she does happen to succeed, she will learn the role of the player. Win Condition-Defeat the Mafia. Notes- Unlike other characters, Lynne has three nights before dying for good after becoming a Ghost. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Missile-Animal Powers- "Bark Attack!"-Only usable when Missile is alive, it allows him to distract two players every other Night. Distracted players will be unable to use their role. "Trick Time!"-Only usable when Missile is a Ghost. Every Night, Missile may try and use his Ghost Tricks to revive a dead player. This is only possible while the player is a Ghost, and there is only a 10% chance of success. "Rewind Time"-Only usable when Missile is a Ghost. Every other Night, Missile may choose to watch the final moments of a dead player's life. In the case of lynch victims, he will learn who the last person to action on them was. In the case of Mafia victims, he will learn who the last person the player actioned on was and if applicable, the results of these actions. This is only possible when the character is a Ghost. "Swap!"-Only usable when Missile is a Ghost, every other Day or Night. If used during the Day, the person in danger of being lynched can be swapped with another player of Missile's choosing. If used during the Night, Missile must select a specific target. He can choose to either swap that target with another player of his choice, meaning any actions meant for that target will be applied to the other player, or switch the target of that player's actions to someone else. Win Condition-End the game with Kamila alive. Notes- After being killed, Missile will gain the ability to do Ghost Tricks. He will not die for good after a certain amount of time like other Ghosts, but this makes it hard for him to hide his identity. Unlike Sissel, Ray, and Yomiel, Missile CAN be revived, but he will remain unaffected by all other Ghost Tricks as long as he's a Ghost himself. If Missile and another player with Ghost Tricks try and save the same player, then the chance to save them increases. Since Yomiel cannot save anyone on his own, he can only help if he tries to use his "Trick Time!" ability on the same person as Sissel or Missile. Sissel, Ray, and Yomiel can't be revived or affected by Missile's Ghost Tricks. If Kamila dies for good, Missile cannot act the following turn. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Jowd(Detective)-Human Powers- "Investigate"-Every other Night, Jowd may choose to investigate a player. Since he is a much more experienced Detective than Lynne, he will learn their role without fail. "Restrain"-Every other Night, Jowd may use this ability to restrain a player from acting during that phase. He may not use this and his "investigate" ability on the same day. Win Condition-Defeat the Mafia. Notes- If Kamila dies for good, Jowd cannot act the following turn. If Alma dies for good, Jowd cannot use his role the following turn. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Cabanela(Detective)-Human Powers- "Arrest"-Every other Night, Cabanela can arrest one player. The following turn, this player will not be able to vote or act at all. If Cabanela dies, the arrested player is released and told privately of their release. "Track"-Every other Night, Cabanela can track a player to find out what they are doing. This will reveal if one player has actioned on another. The catch, however, is that he must choose another person to receive this information. Win Condition-Defeat the Mafia. Notes- If Lynne dies for good, Cabanela cannot act the following turn. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Rindge(Detective)-Human Power- "Investigate"-Every turn, Rindge can investigate a player. There is a 50% chance he will successfully learn who this player has last actioned on. Win Condition-Defeat the Mafia. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Memry(Detective)-Human Power- "Bug"-Every turn, Memry may target a player and try to plant a bug on them. There is only a 50% chance it will work. If it does, all PMs sent to this person will be forwarded to her. Ghosts and Beauty are immune to this ability. If Memry tries to plant a bug on Beauty, there's a 50% chance she will die. Win Condition-Defeat the Mafia. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Junkyard Super-Human Powers- "Scan"-Every other Night, the Junkyard Super can scan a player and learn if they are innocent or guilty. If he scans Yomiel, there is a 50% chance he will die if Yomiel is not one of the good guys at the time. Should he survive, he will learn Yomiel's identity. "Birdie"-Every other Night, the Junkyard Super can send his bird out to retrieve an item belonging to another player. This item will provide a clue to the owner's identity. If used on Yomiel, he will get the Temsik Fragment. Win Condition-Learn Yomiel's identity and stay alive. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Kamila-Human Powers- "Hide"-Every Night, Kamila may use this ability to hide with another player. If she hides with a member of the Mafia, she becomes a hostage of that member and will stay as such until they die. She will also be targeted by any abilities used on the person she is hiding with, such as investigations and Mafia kills. While hiding, Kamila is safe from any actions directed at her that Night. "Call"-Every other Night, when not using her "Hide" ability, Kamila may call for help. There is only a 20% chance she will be successful. If she is, her identity will be revealed to Sissel, Lynne, Jowd, Alma, or Missile. If she is successful more than once, her identity will not be revealed to the same person as it was the first time. Win Condition-Stay alive. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Alma-Human Power- "Sacrifice"-At any time during the round, Alma can sacrifice her own life to restore that of a character who has died for good. If she dies using this ability, she will immediately die for good. Win Condition-End the game with Kamila alive. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Bailey-Human Power- "Panic Dance"-Every other Night, Bailey can use this ability to prevent three players from voting the next Day. Win Condition-Stay alive. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Prime Minister-Human Power- "Call Off"-Every Day, the Prime Minister can call off a lynch. However, he cannot call off a lynch on any player more than once. "Execution Order"-Once per round, the Prime Minister can order another play be executed during either the Day or Night. This does not work on any Ghosts. Win Condition-Defeat the Mafia and keep his family(Emma and Amelie) alive. Notes- If either Emma or Amelie dies for good, he will be unable to act the following turn. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Emma-Human Powers- "Time-Out"-Every Day OR Night, Emma can use this ability on another player. They will be unable to act at all, but will also be immune to all actions used against them. It wears off the phase after it was used. "Bottle Bash"-Every Night, if she hasn't used her "Time-Out" ability that turn, Emma can strike another player with her bottle. This will result in a 50% chance of any actions sent in before then being cancelled. If used on Amelie, she can't act the following turn. "Charm"-Every other Night, Emma can give another player one of her romance novel manuscripts. This player cannot vote for her ever. Amelie, Kamila, and Missle are not affected by this. Win Condition-Survive with her family(Amelie and the Prime Minister). Notes- If either Amelie or the Prime Minister die for good, Emma gains a one-time kill. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Amelie-Human Powers- "Protect"-Every other turn, Amelie can choose one player to protect other than herself. If someone tries to hurt or perform a bad action on this player, they will be safe. This ability can also be used on Ghosts. "Trap"-Every other Night, if Amelie has not used her Protect ability, she can set up a trap. There is a 30% chance this trap will stop a kill from happening. Win Condition-Survive with her family(Emma and the Prime Minister). Notes- If either Emma or the Prime Minister die for good, Amelie gains the ability to incapacitate one player for an entire turn. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Sith(Mafia)-Human Power- "Deal"-By PMing the GM every other Night, Sith can propose a deal to another player. He can offer them information or protection in exchange for them doing a certain thing, such as sharing info or voting a certain way. The GM will decide if all the aspects of the deal are okay and will make sure both sides are truthful. It is up to the other player whether or not they accept this deal. Sith can only make one deal per turn, but he can try a second time if the first deal does not go through. "Steal"-Every other Night, Sith can steal from another player. If the player tries to action that Night, Sith will either learn what they would have learned or stop their action(in the case of things like killing or hiding). If he tries to steal from Yomiel, he will get the Temsik Fragment, rendering Yomiel powerless. "Gather"-Every Night, Sith can use this ability to gather information on a player. He will then receive a hint to their identity. Win Condition-Defeat the Detectives or get the Temsik Fragment. Notes- Sith can freely communicate with the active assassin, which will be either Jeego or Tengo, depending on which one is active. This means he will be alerted which player this is. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Beauty(Mafia)-Human Power- "Sixth Sense"-Every turn, Beauty can activate this ability to sense Ghosts, mostly Sissel, Missile, and to a much lesser extent, Yomiel. If used during the Day, she can target a certain player and will be told if there are any traces of paranormal activity. If one of those Ghosts is who she targets or actions on her target, she will get a positive reading. "Seduce"-Every other Night, Beauty can seduce another player, making them do whatever she wants the following turn, such as vote a certain way or use their actions on a certain player, etc. She cannot, however, force them to give her information. Once a player has been seduced, they cannot vote for her. This does not work on Kamila, Amelie, or Missile. Win Condition-Defeat the Detectives. Notes- Beauty and Dandy know eachother's identities from the start. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Dandy(Mafia)-Human Power- "Kidnap"-Every other Night, Dandy can try to kidnap a player. He can only hold one player at a time and must send the GM reasonsable random demands. His hostage will be released if these demands are met, he releases them, or if he is killed. Ghosts cannot be kidnapped. "Evasion"-Every other turn, if he did not use his Kidnap ability, Dandy can try to Evade actions against him or being killed by the Day vote. He has a 50% chance of succeeding. If he manages to avoid the Day kill, the person next in line will be killed, unless there is no one else. Win Condition-Defeat the Detectives and keep Beauty alive. Notes- Beauty and Dandy know eachother's identities from the start. If Beauty dies for good, Dandy cannot act the following turn. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Crooked Doctor(Mafia)-Human Powers- "Plant"-Every other Night, the Crooked Doctor can plant evidence on a player that will make them appear guilty if investigated. The effects of this are permanent. If he tries to plant evidence on Cabanela, there is a 50% chance he will die. "Blackmail"-Every other Day, the Crooked Doctor can choose to blackmail a player and force them to refrain from speaking in the thread or force them to vote a certain way. If the player chooses to go against this, there is a 50% chance they will die. Win Condition-Defeat the Detectives. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeego(Mafia)-Human Power- "Shoot"-Every Night, Jeego can target a player to assassinate. Due to his poor eyesight, there is a 10% chance he will miss. This ability can also be used on Ghosts. Win Condition-Defeat the Detectives. Notes- Jeego will know who Sith is from the start. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Tengo(Mafia)-Human Powers- "Shoot"-Every Night, once Jeego has died, Tengo can target a player to assassinate. Always one step ahead, his target's actions will also be cancelled. This ability can also be used on Ghosts. "Tie Up"-Every other Day, Tengo can tie up another player, preventing them from voting or acting the rest of the turn. Win Condition-Defeat the Detectives. Notes- Only becomes active once Jeego has died. Will learn who Sith is at this time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Yomiel-Ghost Power- "Possess"-Every turn, Yomiel can possess a player and direct their actions. He cannot possess the same player two times in a row. Possession will wear off the following turn or earlier, if he chooses to. If Yomiel knows the role of the player, he can manipulate their actions better. The possessed player will not be aware of anything that happens during their possession. "Trick Time!"-Every night, Yomiel can choose to manipulate objects. Unlike Sissel and Missile, he cannot go back in time, so he can't use this ability to revive a player without their help. It is advised to arrange such things with them if their identity is known, but if he wants to save a player, he can try using the ability on a Ghost and hope Sissel or Missile does the same. If Yomiel targets a normal Ghost, nothing will happen. If he targets Sissel or Missile, they can't use any of their powers that Night. If he targets a living player, they can't use any of their powers that Night, and there is a 20% chance they will die. "Shell"-Yomiel's immortal body protects him from harm as a Ghost. This ability is always active, unless he is possessing or has lost his Temsik Fragment. Win Condition-Will share the win condition of whoever identified him. Until then, his goal is to be the last one left standing-he wins when everyone else is dead/Ghosts. Notes- Cannot be affected by Ghost Tricks unless possessing someone and therefore cannot be revived. He can help Sissel, Missile, or both to save another player, increasing their chances by 50%. Unlike other Ghosts, he will not die after a certain amount of time has passed. Unlike all other players, Yomiel is neither a good guy or a bad guy. He can become one or the other if the either Sith or Sissel PM the GM and correctly identify Yomiel( this can only be done every other turn, and they will not learn if they are right). If identified, Yomiel will then share the goal of whoever identified him. This is only possibly until there are only five of the twenty-one players left. As Yomiel is not an ordinary Ghost, he cannot be killed by normal means. His Ghost is hidden within the shell that is his old body, which is immune to damage. Thus, he can only be killed while possessing or if his Temsik Fragment has been stolen. If his Fragment is stolen, he will get it back if he manages to possess the theif. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Ray-Ghost Powers- "Enlighten"-Every other Night, Ray can choose to reveal one person's identity to another player. He selects a player, then chooses who he wants to know their identity. He will also learn this player's identity. "Extend"-Every other Day, Ray can use this ability to grant another day to a Ghost. Win Condition-End the game with Kamila and Lynne alive. Notes- Unlike other Ghosts, cannot be revived and will not die after two days. If Lynne or Kamila dies, he will be unable to act the following turn. |

Post subject: | Re: Ghost Trick Mafia(Sign-ups open!) |
Rules: -After sign-ups end and the game starts, do not post in the game thread if you are not part of the game. If you have any questions or something relating to the round or your role, PM me. -Please don't cheat. Follow your character's guidelines. If you are caught breaking rules, you're out and will be barred from future games. -Read these posts VERY carefully and follow the instructions. -If you are a special character PMing me with your action, please indicate as much in your PM title, with titles such as "Lynne's choice" or "Jeego's Target". In your PMs, clearly state what power you want to use and on who. -The two phases begin and end when I say. Sometimes, a phase will end sooner, if all actions have been completed or something like that. For example, if everyone votes to go to sleep, the Daytime Phase will immediately end. If no further action can be taken during the day, it will end. Once all special characters have PMed me their choices, the Night Phase will end. I will try to give you a rough time as to when the phase will end, if I can. -Any game questions, even from participants, must be PMed to me. Like, if you don't understand your role. Do not ask questions that can damage gameplay in the thread. -If you are a special character who can act, PM me during the Night Phase. If you do not plan to act, tell me as much. -It's recommended that all participants keep an eye on the top of the page, to see if they have new messages. -Once you're a Ghost, you can still post, but you can't give any hints if you know someone's identity, nor can you vote. Don't even pretend-vote, because with so many players, it's easy for me to mistakenly count a vote from a dead player. You can't PM, either. Sissel, Missile, Ray, and Yomiel are the only exceptions to this. -Do not sign up if you think you can't post regularily. If there are any issues that will prevent you from posting, contact me, and I'll see what I can do. Also, remember that people are human. I need to sleep too, so I may on occassion end/start the phases a little earlier or later than originally stated. -You can't take back which power you decided to use or who you decided to use it on. -PMs special characters send me during the wrong phase will usually be considered null, unless there is a specific reason the PM was sent at that time. This cannot happen on a regular basis. -Please try and participate. You don't technically have to speak up during the Daytime Phases, but it's good for the game. The same goes for those of you that have special powers. The game can't continue during a Night Phase until you've all contacted me. If there is a reason why you can't contact me during the Night Phase, explain and PM me your choice and action during the Day Phase. -Read through the game thread carefully once the game begins. It's good to know what's going on. -People new to this kind of game, please know that you shouldn't generally reveal who you are. I'm just worried I'll pass out the roles and people will complain and reveal who they got. You CAN say who you are, but it's wise to only do that as a form of strategy. -If you fail after an extended period of time to contact me with a name or an action at Night, then you may not get a chance to do anything at all. -If a Majority is reached, voting is frozen. -This is a fast-paced game and participation is a must. Please do not sign up if you will not be readily available to play. Players are expected to join in the Daytime Phase discussions, vote when people are accused, and PM me promptly if they have special powers to use. -I don't want people dropping out mid-game or asking to be replaced, so try not to let that happen. -If you want your vote to count, it must be bolded. Do not vote for another person without unvoting the last person, and when you unvote, bold it and make sure it says who you are unvoting. Updates: - |

Hmm I'd like to join but there's a lot of rules and limitations. Let me see if I understand this... Day time: Vote to kill (in private via PM?) and general banter in the topic (does this have to be 'in character' based on the role we've been given or is the role just there for power's sake?). Night time: Powers happen and people are killed off for good Is that the general gist of it? |

Post subject: | Re: Ghost Trick Mafia(Sign-ups open!) |
Not quite. First, let me assure you, it's must easier than it looks, and you will catch on quickly. Also, I will help anyone who needs it along the way. I was intimidated the first time I played Mafia, but it really was easy to get in the end. During the Day Phase, voting is done in the thread. Assuming there is no interference, the person with the most votes is killed off. During the Night Phase, the Mafia makes their kill via the active assassin. Role abilities vary as to which phases they can be used during. Just look at each power description to see when it can be used. Generally, in this game, no one is killed off for good the first time they die. Instead, they become Ghosts and can possibly be revived. Most Mafia games have a character with a chance to revive, but Ghosts like this are not common in those. |

So how do the humans and good ghosts kill then? If the objective is defeat the Mafia but the Mafia is the only one voting to kill? Also Sissel should also be immune to beauty's seduction since... Spoiler: |

I think you're still a little confused. EVERYONE votes to kill during the day. The good guys seek to eliminate the evil Mafia, while the Mafia seeks to make the good guys kill one of their own. The Mafia kill is at night. Yes, Sissel is a cat, but he doesn't realize that until the end of the game. He still thinks he is a human for this game. Also, you don't have to worry about marking spoilers in this topic. |

I don't know about thinking like a human, it's the reason he can't read. Also how fast would these day night cycles occur in real time? |

Post subject: | Re: Ghost Trick Mafia(Sign-ups open!) |
But Sissel also acts very human a lot of the time, I feel. The Day Phases will generally last about 24 hours. They may end earlier if the voting reaches majority. Night Phases are pretty open at this point. Commonly, they only last about an hour or so in previous games I've played. Really, I prefer to just end them when all Night actions are in. This is my first time running this specific game on this forum, so it's hard to say how things will turn out. I can say Night Phases will definitely last no more than a few hours. |

Post subject: | Re: Ghost Trick Mafia(Sign-ups open!) |
That should be ok then. I work some nights and having like 3 cycles occur while I'm gone would be bad but if Day cycles last a day then that's fine I suppose. Is this like a Beta then? Or did you get the rules for this variation from somewhere else? |

Post subject: | Re: Ghost Trick Mafia(Sign-ups open!) |
Well, like the posts say, this game is based off of Mafia, so there are many similarities. But different places play different ways. Some places have phases that last for days at a time, while others have them going much faster. I've run Death Note Mafia before and hope to run that here too, but this is my first time ever running this game. I'm also in the process of making Umineko Mafia, Higurashi Mafia, and 999 Mafia. Will you be signing up? And remember, if you feel you will not be around for a particular phase, you can explain the situation via PM and tell me what actions you want to use and on who. |

Ghosts shouldn't be able to be revived after one day, right? I thought that you could only go back to before someone's death if their corpse was less than a day old? Was that confirmed to be true/false? Sign me up btw |

Actually, it was revealed to be false. Ray lied.: P I know a day would make the most sense, but I think I decided on two days to give more time to characters like Sissel and so Missile's identity wouldn't be obvious. I should do more for Missile. Something will likely be changed for him before the game starts. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. I may just give a character the ability to extend how long a ghost lingers. I should make a Ray character or something.XD |

I thought ray only lied about the whole "You'll disappear at dawn" part. It wasn't stated whether he was lying about it having to be a fresh corpse too IIRC. |

I'd reckon the corpse thing was true. But I just don't think a day will work. Again, this is the first run. Things can be changed for the next round, once this one is completed. But we need to get more people to sign up. Where are all the Ghost Trick fans? |

Ray did lie about the disappear at dawn part but I think someone can be a ghost like forever. After all in the climax you go back 40 years to avert a death. Besides the 'fresh corpse' part makes no sense considering how they come back to life, by averting the cause of death initially, it's not like they are animated a mega dead corpse. The whole ghosts fading away thing I don't get how it relates to the actual ghost trick game, while in this it's obvious since the game could go on endlessly without it XD. Is gonna be sad seeing people killed off for real though. |

There was something about a person not being able to be revived if a certain amount of time had passed since their death. It's true that you go back in time ten years to save Yomiel, but his body was essentially frozen in time thanks to the fragment inside it. Well, remember, there's only a slim change of a revival working. And again, things can be changed in future games. |

the ghost fading away was simply a lie to get sissle to listen to ray to get him on the right track as in there never was a time limit to begin with this was stated because ray went back to when yomiel died the first time and waited until that night came again. its fact that you can only go back 4 minutes before the death in yomiels case the stone kept him in a living dead state as in the time he was hit in the park and the stone being taken out were next to eachother and everything in between never occured to his body. is this what your debating? anyways ill join. |

Sorry folks, but forum games still aren't allowed here, and haven't been since the Berry Big circus section closed down years ago. There's not anything in the main rules about it (which there should be, and I'll get right on it), but the only place they would fit is the general chat section, which specifically says that you shouldn't play forum games in the "what you shouldn't be posting" sticky. But seriously, if you're unsure about whether to post something or not I'd rather you ask a mod first instead of just posting it anyway. Anyway, I'd recommend Vendetta-Strada if you want to play Mafia, and as it's video game based I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem recreating this game there. |
