Its a small job, no pay. But when you can see sights nobody else has seen why would you turn down that offer?

This game is an episodic style RP, where we have a series of short adventures rather than one giant overarching plot. It'll be an investigation type RP. In the present day you will be a group, much like TAPS from Ghost Hunters, that goes and investigates hauntings. When we do this one the role of Game Master will essentially switch between the various players as they want if they think they can make a good ghost hunt.

Personality: She is naturally good hearted, but is kind of a flirt. She loves fashion and tries to keep up with each season's fashions. She adores anything cute.
Bio: Victoria was born to a middle-income family and had a normal childhood. But one day, she was singing while she worked as a maid to a wealthy hotel owner, who gave her a show at his hotel. She joined the agency because she had a special gift.
Special Abilities: the sense ((claimed!!)) and her singing voice.

Occupation: Works part-time at the library.
Appearance: A tall girl. She has long brown hair and green eyes. Her height is thanks to her long legs. She usually wears a t-shirt, jeans and a trench coat.
Bio: Aeria has had a pretty rubbish life, coming from a poor background. Her parents, once she turned 10, refused to keep her inside the house, so Aeria lived by stealing people's belongings and selling them, also going around explaining her story and asking for money to survive. She however, went to school like normal children. Social Services eventually got involved and Aeria was adopted by a normal family at the age of 13. She was moved to a different high school, and lived a fairly normal life until now.
Personality: Easily bored and fairly smart. People would think she wouldn't care about people the way she acts, but Aeria is quite caring for people and hates being alone. She can be easily distressed at times.
Other Skills: She can climb up things easily and knows how to take care of herself in a fight. She is good at fixing electronic devices.
Her daily wear will depend on what era this is set in. As will her bio, really.

Occupation: Professional Paranormal Investigator! Yeah, that's right! This is all he does! Even if it doesn't really count as a job. :P
Appearance: With giant glasses and long, black hair he wears in a ponytail, he looks very hippie-esque. There is always a peace symbol somewhere on his clothing. He doesn't care what's fashionable, and usually wears whatever he feels like wearing, until the days of paranormal investigation wherein he wears a gray suit. He always, always wears his lucky pair of socks, which have diamond-shaped stitching.
Bio: Ever since he was a little kid, Argyle believed in ghosts. To this day, he swears his house was haunted. Things would randomly go flying about the house, his pets went crazy, he'd hear voices muttering things he couldn't quite understand...And yet, his parents always told him it was just his overactive imagination. None of that stuff ever really happened. On his fifteenth birthday, his parents disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Argyle was questioned, along with everyone else who had a relationship at all with his parents, but without any evidence, no one was convicted. They have never been found. Argyle believes that the ghosts had something to do with this, but the ghosts, of course, have remained silent about that subject, and have, in fact, stopped haunting him. Now, he is a paranormal investigator, hoping to help others solve their ghost problems and maybe even find out what happened to his parents along the way.
Personality: Argyle is very laid-back, and is no stranger to improvising. He believes he has already seen the worst of hauntings, and therefore he does not get rattled easily if there is evidence of ghosts, as some do. He is pretty non-confrontational. Outside of investigating, he is always researching, finding new victims of a haunting or a new way to approach his job.
Other Skills: He has an uncanny ability to draw ghosts out and is pretty tech-savvy.

Both of you are accepted. Well, right now it seems to be leaning towards present day, so I guess that's what we're going for. Now for my character!
Name: Jean Scallo
Age: 24
Occupation: Dilletante, Rocker
Appearance: Jean has blonde hair that is stylishly... styled. His green eyes are hidden behind a pair of (anime) shades. He wears a grey wifebeater under a black button up shirt and black dress pants with red Converse.
Bio: Jean was the child of a rich family. Basking in his wealth, he ended up not getting a job and instead getting into music. His skill was okay, but he never got hired or anything. From there he got into the supernatural, simply for kicks and gigs. There he founded the Arkham Paranormal Detective Agency in an attempt to amuse himself.
Personality: Jean is the kind of person who works hard on things that don't matter. He focuses on his music and finding the supernatural. He calls himself to leadership as the founder of group, and is quite the people person.
Other Skills: He can sing and play the guitar.

Bio: Torque's experiences in life make him uniquely suited to destroy most any creature who he faces. Suffers from Dementia and blacks out from time to time. He was sent to prison being wrongly convicted of killing his wife and kids. When he blacks out he goes on an uncontrollable rampage which to him seems like he turns into a demonic creature, But of course its only a adrenaline driven fit. Humans cant turn into monsters, Could they?
He joined the others in hopes of finding more info about Dr Killjoy.
Personality: Quiet and keeps to himself.
Other Skills: "Urban survivor" Extremely versatile and can make a weapon out of most anything. Basic electronics modding skills are known, But not widely used. Anything you need to know when surviving in the wild or on the streets, Torque knows.

Personality: She is naturally good hearted, loves to tinker and fix things, and adores anything cute. Most of the time, she is obnoxious and wild, but is incredibly brilliant.
Bio: Victoria was born to a middle-income family and had a normal childhood. She used everyday objects to build things and now she makes and upgrades weapons and gadgets for the agency, which she joined because she had a special gift.
Special Abilities: the sense ((claimed!!)) and is good with technology as well, but she specializes in ridiculous blasters of an old timey feel and gadgets that work off her "sixth sense"
I changed it to include steampunk with my character.

Bio: Tyray was born into poverty, and lived most of his childhood on the streets. His parents failed to take care of him, so he moved in with his rich grandfather by the time he was a preteen. He worked hard in school all his life and graduated college and high school early.
Personality: Tyray is smart, both streetwise and bookwise. He is a very analytical thinker. He usually remains calm and laid back, but will lose his temper easily if the cause is something he is sensitive about.
Other Skills: Good with handguns, and an expert hacker and programmer, and he can run fast

It's all cool. RPs on this site don't seem to have a DM and seem more freeform and sandbox.
Though I do feel like that response (specifically the how so) was rude and I will apologize for that.
If I need to put a reminder, this rp will have a gamemaster for each adventure, since a freeform ghost hunt would be awkward as different people have different views on what a proper version of different supernatural elements is. Some play ghosts as purely scare the crap out of people, while others have ghosts fling you across the room. Others view ghosts as exorcisable while some say you have to destroy an anchor.
The simple fact is that with each adventure a different player will volunteer to be DM. Think up a story and be sure to know kind of what type of ghost you're going for before you start.
I will make the statement that I would prefer the ghosts to be the anchor kind, as otherwise the adventure is either run and never go back or "Here's the building. Latin chant! Let's go people."
That being said, if you can a creative way to make those two not feel unaccomplished, by all means go ahead!

No worries. I didn't take it as rude. The only thing that I saw as godmodding was that "Tyray noticed something strange." But if that's a plot element to your ghost then I wont complain.
Glad we got that all cleared up.
By the way I'm for the anchor type ghosts as well. That's what I most see on ghost TV shows, and it makes the plot more interesting since there's somewhat of a riddle or secret to be solved.
