I'm pretty sure that Silence! in Spanish would be Silencio! Callate! is more like Shut it! than Silence!

I also think that Got it! in Spanish would be Lo Tengo! if I'm not mistaken.

Well, the Italian one is "Silenzio!" Too close sounding to each other. Well, the french "Objection!" did have something similar.

If translated from the Japanese phrase ("That's it!"), I think they would be:

German: "Das es!"
Spanish: "Eso es!"
Italian: "Questo è!"
French: "C'est il!"

Nah, that's not grammatically correct. Directly translated, it means "That it". I think it would either be "Das ist es!", which means "That's it", or - seeing as all translations have always been based off the English localization - a translation of "Got it!", which would be "Ich hab's!".



That sounds a bit strange. "Stille" is more a definition of silence, i.e. the absence of sound, and it's rarely used as an injunction. Then again, I don't really know what to use, since there isn't really anything comparable to it in the German language. "Ruhe!", maybe? Although that's a bit too "soft" for Blackquill's character. "Mund halten!" ("Shut your mouth!") maybe? Or is that too harsh?

"Schweigt!" - (means "hold your tongue" or "be quiet", but adresses multiple people. "Schweig!" would be the prompt for a single person, but in an informal way; for Blackquill to be formal in German, he'd have to use "Schweigen Sie!", and that'd be too long)
"Schnauze!" - (okay, well, I guess not, since it barely walks the line between profanity and acceptable speech, lit. translation is "Snout!", and it's used to tell someone to shut their trap in a very rude way)

Overall, I'd go with "Mund halten!" or "Ruhe!". It's pretty difficult, though. Maybe the translators would have found something that's similar, but not the same, such as the German translation of "Hold it!", which is "Moment mal!" (lit. translation: "(Hold on) Just a moment!").

Yeah, I guess it would depend on how the Spanish translators would localize Blackquill for their audience. If they were going to make him ruder a la Yuugami, "Callate!" is much closer to his "Dama ri na!" which, as I understand it, is pretty rude. (I don't know Japanese, I'm just going off of how other people have translated/explained that phrase.)

"Silencio!" would be the direct translation of "Silence!" in English, and thus more neutral.

Well you know, lo in Spanish refers to he, she, or it. "Got it" can mean "Lo tengo." "Gotcha" refers to got you. It really could have gone either way, i dont know.

Not really. While "ruhe" can be used as a verb, it means "rest", as in "Rest in peace".

I have an idea: If Ace Attorney was in Russian, then "Silence!" would be "заткнись!" (Zatknis!)
