I thought I'd make a thread on words and phrases in Khura'inese. So far, we have the following phrases:

Hap'piraki: The Khura'inese greeting.
Pohlkunka: An exclamation of surprise.
Satorha: Nahyuta's unique speech bubble. The "h" is silent.
Ur dihara: Used in "Ur dihara Khura'in!" and
Spoiler: Case 5
"Ur dihara Ga'ran!"
. Could mean "All hail" or "Long live" in Khura'inese?
Dahmalan: Khura'inese instrument similar to a guitar.
Satorha imao mando mo samashi detashi nu ketare gasayo sonoka: A Khura'inese sutra, recited by Nahyuta Sahdmadhi.
Warbaa'd: A Khura'inese bird
Pahpul Boljhig hell: A special hell where the more you struggle, the lower you fall into the abyss, and at the bottom of the abyss, there's a vicious beast.
Kachu'demahl: "Khura'inese chess".
Pohlkunan: Someone who's a real piece of work.
Nahmanda: A Khura'inese flower.
Gingihl: A Khura'inese dish that is made before the Purification Rite.
Hahtin'supaise: A Khura'inese dish. Pun on "Hot and spicy"
Mehl'tenmoht: A Khura'inese dish. Pun on "Melt in mouth"
Bahlgilpo'kon: Another special hell.
Ja'gar: An endless punishment carried out by the galuun of Puhlmo'ten.
Galuun: Something to do with Puhlmo'ten.
Puhlmo'ten: Something to do with bahlgilpo'kon
Guhljaama: Something to do with bahlgilpo'kon
Zuh'shiray matahmee yomah: A prayer that is given for a fallen one.
Banu'puun: A Khura'inese dish that Nahyuta was reminded of when he test-tasted Bucky's soba.

I collected some terms here and there.

Case 3:
Gingil / gingir - a Khura'inese dish that's usually served before fasting for the Bird Princess ceremony.
Gezogezo frog - some sort of frog/toad Rayfa mentions (and describes Nick to be)
Pohlkunsha - someone who shouldn't exist / is incredibly absurd in every way

...I recall Nahyuta said something in Khura'inese in the 4th case (aside from his sutra), but I'll need to check back to it.

Almost forgot to mention: The "h"s in hap'piraki and satorha are silent.

Also, I don't know why they put an "H" at the beginning. It should have been spelled "ahp'piraki".

Do you know when this word is used in this game? Seeing it without any context, I'm more likely to believe it's just the Japanese word written in katakana instead of kanji, not a Kurainese word, because code-switching between the various Japanese scripts is one of the characteristics of writing in the original Ace Attorney games. I remember that mitama is usually written in kanji in this game, so perhaps it was just used once in katakana to show the reading of those characters?

Edit: By the way, I assume that the name Ikusadori / イクサドリ (the bird with the lion's roar) is a name of Kurainese origin.

I think it pops up in the final CE of case 1? Can't remember any other instance for sure.

I guess cause the new one looks like "happy lucky." Not that that's good localization

Oh yeah, I'm sure it's not used as Kurainese word, but a Japanese word there.
Spoiler: Case 1
Because it's written on purpose in katakana to make Potdino's slip of the tongue slightly less obvious for quick readers: 勾玉 and 御霊 are a lot less difficult to read over than マガタマ and ミタマ.

And I remember now it also said mitama in katakana in the Japanese-language translation of the song Nick got. Emphasis on Japanese-language.

Can we add Papul Bolzig to the list? I hear it's a kind of special hell where you're in constant freefall with demons clawing at your flesh 'til you land into the den of the beasts (antlions) to be consumed.

Nice find on the anagram... but it becomes a question with how the other words are supposed to be deciphered.

Not making any comments on whether I think it's correct or not, but the "translated" Japanese text from that tweet means: 'Oh unenlightened, tainted soul. Even the founder's patience has its limits'. The second line, 始祖様の顔も三度まで / Shisosama no kao mo sando made, is a variation of an actual Japanese saying, 仏の顔も三度まで(撫ずれば腹立つ), meaning literally 'Even the Buddha will get angry if you stroke his face thrice', or basically: 'Don't push it'.

Perhaps it's the same as the phrase he has in English: https://twitter.com/vaguelyhorrible/sta ... 9193480192

This link contains every Khura'inese word and phrase found in the game, and the reading of every Khura'inese character, except for "ね" (ne).

Another interesting thing to note: I might have misread it, but it shows Minister Inga's full name...?

His full name was longer than that. All I see is the example with "Warrior of the Underworld Torisaman".

I'm just trying to figure out how they write the Khura'inese character for ぬ. Is it one stroke? Two? Three?

I noticed that some Khura'inese words are puns, such as "Kachu'demahl", or Khura'inese chess/shogi. (Catch them all). Ace Attorney and Pokémon crossover confirmed.

This is entirely trivia, but I notice the initials of Inga's name spell
Spoiler:
ikaku = "menace" or "threat". I have no idea what the rest of his name in the Jp ver. is supposed to be.

I don't know if this was intended, but it certainly comes together in the end.

I made up a sort of "idiom" in Khura'inese:

"Keh'garay pohlkun ki satorha!"
"ケガレ・ポルクン・キ・サトラ!"

Keh'garay -> From Japanese "汚れ" (Kanji might be wrong), literally "tainted".
Pohlkun -> From "pohlkunan", someone who's a real piece of work
Ki -> What would basically be the Hindi equivalent of "の".
Satorha -> Self-explanatory.

So it would literally mean "Enlighten this tainted fool!". It's true meaning? "Kill yourself".

So I decided to try and make an entirely fleshed out Khura’inese language with words from the games and inspiration from Nepali. The thing is, with how the language is written, a lot of the words in the English version can’t be written, such as hap’piraki. There can’t be two p’s in the middle there, and in this instance, it changes the way I pronounce it. This forum has been very useful in my endeavors, but I think it would be very useful to use the words used in the original Japanese, so if anyone knows any of those, or knows of a place where I could find them, that would be very helpful. Thank you :edgey:
Oh also I haven’t played through the game yet, so if you could avoid any spoilers, that’d be nice.

Well, there's this link that's been posted above, to a page with several Japanese Khura'inese words:
