Discussion thread. This was cute, though a bit of a retcon. Having child Phoenix and child Larry both know about Gregory's death takes away from the impact of 1-4, but I did like seeing Miles conflicted about his path while still dealing with his trauma. It was... strange and almost sad to see child Franziska so bright eyed and full of joy, clearly content with being in the little sister role. And Manfred providing for her in all the ways except emotionally... well, not a surprise, but it was interesting to see their home life. "Hey, Japanese lawyer is pre--y crazy, huh?" Still less cringey than Redd White, I guess. |
