The common opinion is his little "twist" makes him a really awesome character but I didn't buy into it that well. He might have more to him than meets the eye but I don't think it really made him a better character (just deeper, which doesn't necessarily improve my opinion of them).
EDIT: I forgot, I also like Pearl less than others do. Not cute enough (dare I say).

I wouldn't say uncommon, but I do think it is refreshingly nice to find someone who, for some reason, does not like Maya or any other Fey very much. I mean, Pearl is the only Fey I "like" and that borders on tolerating, because there are parts of where I just want to tell her to Pipe down already.
And it feels to me like everyone likes Godot. "He's such a tragic hero", No he is not. He is a wimp of a man who wallowed in his misery instead of trying to move on.

Most of the people I've seen recently say they like Godot because, and I paraphrase, his skill as a prosecutor, he's incredibly snarky and is as menacing as von Karma.
Because apparently sitting back, then pointing out that you don't have evidence equates to skill. obvious sarcasm is obvious

No shit... Every proseutor in the AA-verse is great because all they do is be a dick to the Judge and point out flimsy flaws. If that's all it takes to be a great prosecutor, I must have been a great one for years...

Sometimes Athena does get in the way of my enjoyment, but she's a good asset to them. She's helped out a lot in cases with her ability.

If she really cared about Phoenix she would have told him the truth, because every day that he held onto that necklace could have been the day Dahlia decided to take things into her own hands. I'm surprised she held out as long as she did; she must have cared for Iris more than she let on.
Fact is, from her actions it seemed Iris gave more of a crap about Dahlia then she ever had about Phoenix. And him not blaming Iris is a whole lot more about Phoenix and the person he is than Iris and her actions.
