Hello!

I just bought myself Gyakuten Saiban 3 for the Nintendo DS, to be mailed out when the guy at the other end gets his stock in during late August. I own PW1 with a European box (and Australian rating system), P2:JFA with the American cover art and ratings stuff (I imported it because PW:JFA still isn't out here in Australia and I got sick of waiting), and soon to be GS3 with the Japanese infos.

So much for consistency, huh? :phoenix:

Anywhoo, what's a Japanese import version like to play? Does the English translation on the games differ from the one eventually released in the US? Er, judging from past releases, that is, if you already own the older ones.
Oh, and a slightly off topic question, but following along the lines of translation. I heard GS1 and GS2 are available with English translation anyway... is this true? (if it is I might add them to my collection stack just for the hell of it). If this is the case, why didn't they do it for GS4?

That's about it for now. Image Thanks!

JapaneseEnglish is more or less the same as the American release...I think.

Anyway, they didn't do GS4 because it was a brand new game, and they'd no localised names for it. Not to mention people would be all LOLJAPANESEENGLISHFUCKLOCALISATION.

I own Justice for All in the Japanese Version and well... the English language there is just like the English in the USA version... so this third game will be the same for sure.

You'll just be pressing the bottom button to change the language and you'll hear "Objection" in whatever language you change it to. That is all.

But you can have hours of fun changing it from Igiari! to Objection! It's better than the actual game! :gant:

Like changing 'Objection' to 'Objection!' (in french) and 'Einspruch!' in the European JFA! :gant:

Now that the date is moved to October, more people are probably going to import.

I'd have fun playing with the japanese/english voices. =D

And GS4 wasn't made into english because they didn't decide on -coughcringe- Apollo Justice yet. Yeah. n___n

I'll just download the Japanese release and buy the English version in October..

I thought they didn't translate the fourth one because they were working on GS3's at the time...? :o

They want to wait to see how well T&T does outside of Japan before they start translating GS4... so we'll probably get it in Spring 2008, if we're lucky. That's just my speculation though
