Well, there's no need to take all the spirit channeling out. As someone said before, it would have been enough if they made it be so difficult to make Mia's appearances less frequent and perhaps more relevant to the plot, instead of the "I don't understand that, oh wait, I'm going to channel my dead sister so she can solve all the case" thing that sometimes happen.

In fact, channeling was difficult for Maya on PW1 and Mia could only appear on extreme tension moments. But on PW2 they introduced Pearl and improved Maya's habilities so Mia seems to pop in and out without effort.

I totally agree, I think I would prefer the game if it didn't have any magical elements in there at all, to be fair.

But yeah, diminishing the importance of spirit channeling definitely seems like a good idea. It just sounds like a lot to change throughout the three games if you do that! Not really like "one thing", I guess. I don't know... I don't know what I'm talking about. :payne:

There's something I noticed while replaying case 3-2. When you use the Magatama for the very first time on our friend Luke, at the end you have to assess what he did (a choice of three things) and then immediately after that, show proof that corraborates your theory. In this situation, this is really easy--but this "one-two punch" setup is (as far as I remember) never repeated in the rest of the game. And that really has a lot of potential to be difficult, like the double evidence thing in 2-4. I'm starting to wonder if they originally had made case 5 much more difficult, but were told they had to tone it down after QA or something? It would certainly explain a lot! :keiko:

Hmm, as of this moment, I can only say at least make 1-5's story fit properly into the timeline so that there aren't any loopholes and errors. Although why they chose Edgeworth as the prosecutor is a little odd to me.

Oh yes, and I think it would've been nice to see Larry in JFA for one or two of the cases.

Maybe it didnt feel like a "loss" because her spirit can always come back in someone else's body (Maya or Pearls). I mean she's gone, but she's not gone-gone is she?
I agree about the multiple answers thing. Choosing a different answer should really have an impact on how the game goes, not just switch to the correct one.

If this sounds stupid, don't shoot me. In 2-3, after you win the case, I'd like Bat to make an appearance, out of his coma (even though someone, maybe Moe, says that he will never). Also, Acro should appear to apoligize to Regina and Bat, and be reunited with his brother (but still be sent to prison.)

Also, I would like a new prosecutor for 1-5. In JFA 2-3, Phoenix says that 1-4 was Edgeworth's last case. When Gyakuten Saiban 1 was released on the DS, I expected them to move the text around. Since they didn't they should use a new prosecutor:

:edgeworth: No
:franny: No
:karma: No
:kyouya: No
:bite: No
:payne-stroke: Yes

So, unless you make a completely new prosecutor, the only possible person could be Winston, which would ruin his tradition of appearing in the 1st cases of every game.

In 2-2, after you reveal that Ini is actually Mimi, I'd like her to actually look like Mimi again, instead of just crying. In some artwork, and when she pretends to be the murderess Maya, her hair is long and brown like Mimi, not Ini, so she should turn back into her sister once you reveal her.

And, er, that's it. :study:

I'd also fit case 5 of the game into the main storyline and change the entire case 2-3. Actually I'd change almost everything about jfa except the music and case 4.
Don't mind me, just passing through.

Well... she kind of had facial reconstruction, so unless you're suggesting her face melts off to reveal the burned mess of the car wreck, I doubt they could have done it.

Who said fandom had to make sense? Isn't the fun of fandom making sense of things the creators didn't consider?

Case 1-5, I'd remove it from the whole series, honestly.

...On second thought, Gant wouldn't exist then so I take that back.

There's actually nothing I'd change, I'm satisfied with what there is. Though I have to agree with the Mia thing. :knock-knock: Phoenix is no Ace Attorney without Mia appearing at the eleventh hour to help him in almost every case. That is getting on my nerves.

There are Moe fans? I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who actually liked him.

MOE IS ADORABLE. I like his character a lot, because normally, clown characters in fictional media serves as the purpose of being comical reliefs, but even though Moe tried to be one, he just couldn't be one. Isn't that pitiful? He was pretty emotional for a clown.
Oh, and speaking of....
What do you get when you rearrange the letters of Moe's name?

EMO!

No, the real reason that I started to like Moe was because of his big decision he made at the end of 2-3. Very heroic of him.

I'm digging your grave as we speak. :yogi:

I honestly didn't think Moe was that annoying either though, and I'm kinda surprised that everybody here hates him! The fact that he was actually an absolutely terrible clown made him kind of endearing... Plus, there were significantly more annoying characters abound in 1-5.
