Then, just in the nick of time:
The Defense had found a clear contradiction in that statement, in evidence just presented by the family.
It was a video, of the same baby pinching him on the nipple. And he just laughed and hugged and kissed him. There's no way he would have killed his son for that.
And so, he got a Not Guilty, and all was well.

If Thompson protested that, he would definitely have my foot up his ass. Abraham Lincoln is one of my biggest heroes. I had no idea that he was attorney, so that makes him even cooler. He has awesome facial hair, an awesome hat, rarely lies, has a great sense of justice, and was one of the few presidents that were actually very smart and deserved the job. The game sounds awesome, but it most likely won't happen (stating the obvious). But maybe a movie based on some of his trials would work well. Or maybe even a reference to him in the Ace Attorney series. They could make him something like a legendary court messiah. If he could come back to life, I think America should just go into a monarchy and keep him living forever and being the king. No election. He's too awesome to need votes. Because we all know, when there's an election, they never nominate good people anymore. Just senile old idiots. Lincoln's old, but he's the best president ever.

Well, for starters, my dad looks like GANT.

Then there's my Economics Teacher, Mr. Hennesson... He plays the GS series... AND he looks like Payne. :/
I've also got a lot of friends who look like GS characters: There's Emmet Tweedy who looks like Houzuki Akane (Ema Skye), and she does so on purpose, too; then there's my buddy Jim Bails, who has a bit of a resemblance to Hobohodo. Jim denies the resemblance, but Emmet loves it whenever people say she looks like Akane.
Oh yeah, and there's my other friend Locke de Bohemond, and his great-grandfather's name is Jean Godot de Bohemond. Lawl. :P
One of my dogs is named Godot. Locke thought I named it after his great-granddad. O__O;
My grandpa also looks a little like Igarashi. They've got the same hairstyle and have both served in the army; the only difference being the fact that my grandpa doesn't throw food at people when he gets mad. Nope. He just shouts out loud when that happens.
Oh, and I also work at Starbucks, and love coffee as well. Of course, I don't go overboard like Godot, but meh.
And one time, when I was at work, I saw a girl who looked remarkably like

Anyways, I really don't know anybody who bears a resemblence, unfortunetly, to any Phoenix Wright characters. I do have one friend who loves Pheonix Wright (outside my family, of course) and bears a resemblence to Maya Fey in both stature and personality. She's also a hopeless Edgeworth fangirl. It's kinda scary. I really wish somebody I knew looked like Aiga. That would be sick.
It's sad, I can't really compare myself to any PW character, I bear no resemblence to them. The only video game character I've ever been compared to (mostly by other people) is Roxas from KH2, but that's a different story. I'm rather small in stature, often getting mistaken for being a few years younger, so I really can't call anybody "kitten" and be taken seriously. Some guys get all the luck.
I also have this terrible tendancy to bang tables, stands, and benches to prove a point or in frusteration. I can't tell you how often I've heard, "Brandon, stop, you're going to break that damn table!" I also now tend to fight my verbal battles Phoenix Wright style (Evidence is key!).

But he thinks Edgeworth is "teh bomb" and laughed when he saw questioning the parrot. He'll also randomly shout Objection and I'll reply by slamming anything (desk, table, counter...) and countering. At which point anybody standing nearby says, "Hey, you're gonna break the freaking table."
Nobody I know really looks like any GS characters.
